“I went to school here about 20 years ago. It looked nothing like what it is now. I've been in multiple college cafeterias and this one held its own with bigger ones. There was a good variety. The salad bar was fresh. The dining room was very clean.”

“Decent Barbecue in a very scenic area. I should note that the South Carolina mustard sauce here is different from anything else I have tasted. First it is brown and is very sweet. It also has a bit of a vinegar flavor with the mustard. I am personally not a big fan of very sweet sauces, however, if that is up your alley this is the place. The Pulled pork doesn't come chopped much, so you will likely need to pull it. The pork is also had a lot of fat that wasn't fully rendered. I should also mention the portions are massive and will likely be enough for 2 meals which is great! Overall, worth a road trip for the entire experience!”

“We came in on a Saturday afternoon and honestly the food was pretty darn good for the price! 13 bucks a person is u heard of anymore for a buffet! Chicken was crispy and moisture. My husband loved the meatloaf and the sides were abundant. The only negative was the overall smell of the place which was reminiscent of an old folks retirement home.”

“Had dinner here today. Food portions are large and the prices low. She had the chicken fried steak, and I had the salmon. My house salad was arugula and baby spinach. That surprised me. “Service was great! We sat right down and the chips and salsa were delicious! They also had an awesome salsa bar. Our food was was sooo good too and huge portions. I got the carne asada ( pictured below) and my husband got a burrito. I was also extremely impressed with the plating of the carne asada, it was beautiful and huuugee the picture doesn’t do it justice! The steak was cooked perfectly too. My husband got a margarita he said was really good and I’m pregnant so they made me a non alcoholic guava daiquiri that was yummy too. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area! The only thing I have to say is that I wish they had an online menu so I could’ve looked ahead of time.”

“Oh my gosh are you kidding me this is the best little restaurant it's just a little quiant home cooking soul food restaurant that you could find and Miss Shirley is so nice and so real down home cooking hospitable, if you ever go I think it's on a Wednesday try the cabbage casserole, the baked chicken is awesome too if you want real down home southern cooking this is absolutely the best place to go”

“I got married back in October and ordered my cake from the very talented Olivia! I gave her free rein with my cake and she didn’t disappoint! The top tier was strawberry shortcake, second tier tiramisu (our favorite), third tier German chocolate, and the last tier caramel bourbon. She is absolutely the best don’t hesitate ordering a cake from Magic Oven so delicious!”

“Amazing fries! Burgers are great and handmade with melted cheese on them and not fake slices. Only complaint I would have is the ranch but I’m extremely picky on ranch. Highly recommend and will go back if coming through this area. Beats your normal fast food chain restaurants for sure.”

“The food has gotten so much better. The brisket is a definite must, and it doesn't even need sauce. We had the ribs tonight and they were excellent. The sides are good. I really like the slaw and stew. I do wish there were more options for sides like some of the other BBQ places we visit but still very good. The service can be slow, and they rarely come back around to check on you, but they are nice. It is good to finally have at least one good restaurant in Toccoa, which is something this town lacks. Definitely give them a try.”

“I love EVERYTHING about this restaurant, they have all of the classic Mexican-American foods we have grown to love, but they also have a good amount of more traditional based dishes that people who want good, homey feeling meals can grab. Chorizo and eggs are a great breakfast, ALL the Quesadillas are INSANE. The staff is great, they're very respectful and nice from the beginning. But if you take the time, tip well, treat them with kindness, and talk to them like they're someone, in turn they'll treat you like family. That's the difference between needing that 2nd Margarita, or struggling to finish the first one ?? ? ??Parking: Plenty of parking. Large spots for trucks towards the end. Never been unable to find a spot.”

The only wish I have would be for Bells to add a second floor! I have never seen it not busy: folks standing at the take out and many many many folks on the inside waiting to be seated. Ok, instead of a second floor, just build on the back. One measure of caution, this business and it's patrons definitely have a unique culture - I learned the hard way: I tapped on the take out window hard with my car key.
