We’re from Fort Payne. Glad we found this place when we were on our way to Chattanooga. My wife had the loaded BBQ potato and I had the pork plate. Food was very good. Some of the sides were especially good, baked beans and fried green tomatoes. We will definitely be back again. Also look forward to visiting the Summerville location.

I am a connoisseur of Brunswick stew. I have traveled the entire Southeast and have eaten and over 50 barbecue joints in the past year. This place makes the best Brunswick stew. It is truly remarkable.

The food at Thatcher’s is truly top tier. In my opinion it’s how BBQ is supposed to be; great smoke, creative plates, good prices. The staff has always been friendly and prompt! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner! Also- don’t skip out on the appetizers!

It's not listed, but, the brisket! I very rarely have found good brisket outside of Texas (I even got a half pound to bring home.)
I cannot comment on anything else because the brisket is all I had, no sides or anything. But apparently their mac and cheese is really cheesy andbecause my wife does not like a lot of cheese, she did not eat it. So, that's a good sign to me. Our guest seemed to really enjoy her food as well.
Waitresses were great, service was great, I'd make the drive regularly. It's not even close to me, but it's worth the trip. If you're ever in Trenton Georgia, stop by.

This was a second time eating at the Trenton location and it did not disappoint. We came last year on vacation and loved it so much, we came back this time on vacation too. Our server Kaitlin was super attentive and with helpful with our questions on the menu. We will definitely recommend for good food and fast and friendly service.
