Even though I was embarrassingly underdressed for such a classy place, they not only allowed me in, but they also made me feel like royalty while I was there. I can't remember when I have experienced such friendliness and hospitality from a restaurant staff. And the food was just as good as the service. The honey almond chicken is amazing!! The Next time I'm in the area, I will probably drop in again. Highly recommended.”

They have great homemade southern dishes as well and desserts daily and the pizzas and cheese sticks are always consistent atmospheres great and people are so friendly, if you’re not from around I highly suggest the drive it’s worth it!”

“The four of us went here for lunch as we live nearby and hadn't tried it yet. Mom is 94 and there was no parking close to the entrance. My husband dropped us off as close to the door as possible and Mom used her walker the rest of the way. We were immediately greeted and I tried to use the Purel dispenser at the hostess desk. It was empty. I told the hostess that it needed to be filled up. We were seated by the window which had a lovely view. I never get tired of it even though it's a similar view at my house. We ordered from the very limited and simple menu. Our server was polite and efficient. We had the hushpuppies that the server recommended for an appetizer and they were excellent. My husband had some blackened fish which he enjoyed. Mom and guest had a turkey sandwich which was also very good. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was actually a bit tough. All of our entrees came with French fries which were nicely salted. The lunch prices were reasonable but I'd rather pay a bit more for a menu with more creativity. It was too cold to sit outside, but that looked like it would be a fantastic spot to have lunch when the weather cooperates. We left and I noticed that the Purel hand sanitizer was still empty. Details matter!”
