“A friend brought me for my first time and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Haileigh was so quick, attentive, and kind. She was also a hoot and a holler to converse with inbetween orders. Lamont came to check on us too and made sure we were comfy cozy and just every staff we interacted with brought a certain je ne sais quio to the environment. The brunch was so good (we got deviled eggs, oysters, and the salmon toast and avocado toast). I HAVE to come back with a big group immediately. Beetlecat brought the vibes yall!“
“My husband and I ate here last Wednesday. It was our 1st visitWe each had the bacon Bleu cheeseburger. His medium, mine medium rare. Both cooked perfectly. We live an hour away so we won't be here often. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We wish you were closer.“
“We came to Leon’s for dinner and it was great! My wife had the duck and it was fantastic. I ordered the hangar steak and really enjoyed that too. Overall, great restaurant for a nice (but not too nice) night out.The cocktails were also really good. We had a wide variety of drinks, and each one was unique and well made.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant seemed to be very accessible for wheelchairs“
“Updating my review based on my most recent visit (3 years since the last). The restaurant is under new ownership and the changes show in terms of service and food improvements. I'm excited to see where they go next. Happy to have this place back on my go-to list!“
“We went by accident and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. Its in a weird location so expectations weren't high. After looking at the menu TRIGGER FISH stood out. It's my favorite fish and this is the first time ive seen it on a menu sobi had to try it. The rice is on has lima beans and isn't great but that fish was amazing. Loved it“
“Allow me to set the mood! It’s Hoopz last night in Atlanta before moving back to Seattle. As such, I wanted something close to his area, good, and that I had never tied before. Naturally I end up on Yelp performing a search and Boom! I stumbled across Argosy. Though I have been in this area numerous times, I have never noticed Argosy. However, tonight was the night… I was excited as the restaurant has its own private lot. Woo Hoo! Anyone who knows the area can’t attest that parking is not the best when it comes to available spaces. Once parked, we headed inside. Argosy is humongous. I’m talking super big covered patio area in the front, when you walk through that space to get to the main area, the inside is HUGE as well. The setup has your organic local bar feel and is musically vibrant and upbeat. Upon walking in we were seated within moments. The table setup makes good use of the space as you don’t feel crowded at all. We were a party of 2 and the tables next to us were a party of 10 and we both had ample space. As I looked over the menu, this is the traditional bar food menu with the Argosy twist. This makes for a limited selection to choose from, however, there is at least one traditional favorite of each food element in the menu. Our server arrived at the table within moments, welcomed us to the venue and took our drink orders. She was very pleasant and displayed a joyous smile. After a few moments of burger vs. fries, I decided to get the Wings and Fries and babeeeeeeeeeee. These wings were amazing. The wings come in a sauce I have never had before, and now that I have had it, I want to continue having it. It’s like a Buffalo style sauce not too spicy, with an Argosy taste twist to them. As far as the French fries… Hear me clearly. The art of a Homemade fry is not something everyone can execute well. However, Argosy has discovered the ART of fry making. The fries are crunchy on the outside, however, soft and fluffy on the inside. Furthermore, the fries are lightly salted which brings out the authentic taste of the potato. To make it even better, the fries aren’t too oily or overly greasy. Though I loved my wings, the French fries stole the night!! All in all, I will be back at Argosy soon as I MUST try the burger next.“
“The food was delicious. Service was great. Only downfall was that I was too loud for me. I wanted to enjoy the delicious food but sitting next to the bar was too loud. I would definitely go back during the summer and sit outside. We had the winter menu definitely try the jalapeño cheese beer soup. It was an amazing suprise.“
“Mostly bar food but not bad. Decent beer selection. Had to wait around 30 minutes for a table and with no real waiting area we had to stand out in the cold so we weren’t blocking the doors. All in all wasn’t too bad though. We had spinach dip, fish & chips and a “
“We called last week and found out that the fall menu started today so showed up for lunch and had the Jack Salmon. It was better than we remembered from last year and, since it's only available for a month we shall be back several times. We requested that they put in the suggestion box we'd like it to stay on the menu year round but I don't have high hopes of that happening...maybe it could be kept around for three months? Just mouth watering!!!“
“The owners and staff here have put together an incredible establishment with this one. The entire menu is delectable and the cocktail list is top-notch. ? 10/10!! ? They also have Karaoke, Trivia and even BINGO night!! You can't go wrong with going here if you're ever in the Kirkwood area.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with no stairs, also outdoor seating.“
“I was immediately greeted by a very warm and inviting waiter who came over with the menu and asked for my beverage of choice. In less than 3 minutes, he came to inquire if I wanted appetizers. My order was brought in under 15 minutes. The burger I selected was tasty, however it was a bit smaller than I expected. I also ordered a cocktail that was perfectly blended.I'd go again.“
“Their blackened chicken is flavorful, fits in nicely atop a caesar salad. My friend's smoked trout dip was spectacular, full of flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the atmosphere. Only a 5 minute wait for a Saturday night dinner. Definitely worth a visit.Parking: The restaurant is in the hotel and shares a parking lot. The lot can be crowded if hotel is crowded.“
