WOW!!! Michael was our bartender and we had an absolute blast. He had made some epic meatball sliders that he let us try and … I’ll be thinking about that meatball for a long time. Beers were great and there were lots of different styles. Michael made me THE most delicious craft cocktail I had on our whole trip. Can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Back River Brewery and can’t wait to come back.

Wow another hidden gem on Tybee!!! We'd been told the beer and smoked meats were good but wow. The caprese salad with farm fresh tomatoes, mozzarella pesto/basaltic glaze and fresh crispy bacon was fantastic. The Berry salad was great and the smoked prime rib sandwich incredible not to mention the bong water ipa was spot on. Highly recommend trying out Back River Brewery that also has big and well placed TVs for a great sporting event too!

Well when we walked in,we we're in the bar and they said this is the restaurant side too, it was very small but we decided to stay anyway. Well let me tell you, we both had the most delicious meals. Every bite popped in my mouth. I had the smoked brisket quesadilla, the beef was smoked to perfection combined with sauteed veggies, hot pepper cheese, drizzled with a spicy sauce and avocado slices, AMAZING! My friend had the pulled pork sliders topped with Cole slaw, she said it made her mouth happy. We got to watch the chef prepare our meals and he loved that we loved our meals?

The best place we ate at while we were on Tybee for a week long vacation and we enjoyed it so much we ended up going back again. The prime rib melt was great and the Thai chicken was also very good. The food was fresh and the beers on tap were also great. Would highly recommend.

We chose Back River Brewing for dinner due to the multiple reviews we had seen about their food. We ordered the Brisket Quesadilla and the Thai Chicken Naan. Both were very good and full of flavor. We shared the quesadilla, it was a good portion. The Naan was delicious, just a small portion, so maybe grab an appetizer to go along with it. I had the juicy IPA, and it was good as well as the Rye that my wife had. There are lots of steps leading up to the brewery, but the bar itself is nicely appointed with clean restrooms and views of the Main Street and the kitchen/brewery area. Our bartender told us everything on the menu was good and based on what we had, I tend to agree with her.
