Absolutely awesome! The chef literally knows his way around a great service! The waiter was off the chain amazing and we lacked for nothing! Drinks were amazing, and we left incredibly full and happy! If you get a chance to visit this restaurant, DO IT!!!!

I came up from New Smyrna Beach with family. Tabitha was one of the kindest Bartenders I've met in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits there while in Georgia. I will definitely return.
I went there a few days ago while visiting, and it was an okay experience. The food was really good, but the service was a bit unusual. Ethan did a great job with our drinks and taking care of us, but we noticed the young food runner kept sitting down and flirting with the bartender. The food was great, but we would have preferred more professionalism in the service. Comments made were unprofessional, especially when one of them is trying to focus on their job. Went back today and it was the same girl at the bar and not Ethan. Sadly went somewhere else

Bernie's was a great find on our vacation. I enjoyed the bucket of oysters that"you shuck". There were a lot for a really good price. They were fresh from Virginia, per the bar tender, who also helped me learn how to shuck without stabbing myself in the hand. My wife had the salmon wrap which she really liked. The atmosphere is laid back and we also met a couple great individuals while sitting at the bar. Kids were welcome in other areas.

I get it's a tourist town. Gonna pay more. No problem. Ordered a dozen Oysters on the Half Shell at 25 bucks. No problem. Here's the problem, being a 30 year Executive Chef we prep ahead to meet demand before service. These things were drowning in melted Ice water and not fully shucked off the shell. Moving on, Oyster Platter with Fries, Hushpuppies, and Slaw. 5 Small Fried Oysters mushy, Fries Ice Cold, Hushpuppies Ice Cold and bland as can be. Coleslaw warm. This garbage was prepped way before ordering it and sitting. Place should be ashamed of themselves. If it wasn't a Beach Town it be like the other one in Savannah that's 6 feet under. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Chef Spoken. Pathetic

I was attended to within seconds of walking through the door and wasn’t given a chance to not have my order fulfilled. Definitely recommend eating here and commend Ethan for his customer service!
