Came for a sweet treat, left with sweet disappointment. Closed at 9:38 pm when hours say closing at 10:30 pm.
Such a fun and yummy stop on Tybee Island! Boardwalk Ice Cream had so many delicious options including plenty of non dairy treats, which made me so happy because there’s usually not as many options for people that can’t have dairy. I got the pineapple Dole Whip (so refreshing!), and my husband ordered the blue Italian ice… we ended up swapping because his was so insanely good. Seriously one of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time! The shop has old-school charm, lots of sweet treats, and everything was super affordable. Definitely worth a stop if you’re on the island!
Its a quaint little shop. Make sure you bring cash, though. Their card reader may charge you twice.

Friendly staff, cute affordable place. Service was quick. Location good walking distance to other shops and hotels!
Stopped by earlier before our visit to ask when they closed and spoke to service representative named Alan who gave us our answer (10pm) and a free serving of dole whip! It was a very sweet and unexpected kind gesture.

Great ice cream! They serve real Dole Whip which was a treat. The Blue Panda ice cream is the best - I wanted to try something that the regular ice cream brands at the grocery store don’t have and it was great! Friendly staff, and we were served quickly.
What an amazing ice cream place! I had the chance to try Dole Whip and oh bubbles it was so amazing! 100% recommend trying it out!
We had a great experience at Boardwalk. Easy to order, quick to scoop. Out the door enjoying ice cream quickly. The young lady scooping was friendly and was responsive to our conversation.
