Helped us find fun things around the area, too, with us not being locals. Will definitely be coming back here every time we’re in the area! She was the sweetest!

We ate at Pier 16 twice during our weeks stay on Tybee. The food and service were great and they have a gluten free menu. The second night had a party of 9 and sat on the front patio. When it came time to pay our bills, the waitress took payment at the table. There were 4 checks. The first payment worked fine, but the next 2 “failed” at the table and she took the cards inside to try again. Now 2 of our party were double billed. After calling the restaurant, they said they didn’t have the party’s showing as being there. At this point looks like it has to be challenged at the credit card as the restaurant is not going to fix this.

Hiding my real name for dispute purposes. But I’m delighted that the bank has refunded me for the pitiful service I received last weekend. My cocktail tasted like dishwashing water ,& no alcohol ! The heavy set , lard filled, woman with the mayonnaise complexion would not budge in comping the drink neither would the weird waitress that was giving side eyes at my request I guess she did not want a tip that day. . So now everything is comped !! Back in atl and I’ll be using that credit on a seafood boil today at my fav restaurant. What makes this experience so funny is that I have dined at Michelin restaurants all the way from Iceland to New York . And they’d send back a $500 plate if the taste was off. But a low budget fish shack wanted to argue me down over $15 drink. LMAO I’ve seen it all.

Cocktails are weak with barely any alcohol. Straight up juice. They didn’t comp it , so 0 tip and dispute with my bank.

Cannot say enough about our experience today. Took the whole Miller family over there for an afternoon lunch and it was just super! My daughter and wife got the hamburger and they both thought it was absolutely awesome and I can say from firsthand experience. The french fries were super as well. My mother got the fish tacos that were grilled. And I also got the tacos. My fish taco was blackened and it was wonderful. The sweet tea is definitely something to write home about and let me just tell you will never find a better pimento cheese dip. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re close by the staff is super attentive. We are heading out in the RV to head down towards Mexico and I’m thinking I’m gonna wanna come back here soon.

Food was great, with our group we had a taste of a few things, Pimento cheese appetizer was delicious, as well as the clam chowder, fish tacos were really good and probably one of the best burgers I have had. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would recommend Pier 16!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch while bike riding. We were seated quickly on the patio and were pleasantly surprised at the food and drink quality. I ordered the blue crab cake appetizer since I wasn't super hungry, and not only did the plate have the delicious crab cake, but a small green salad with cukes tossed in a light vinegarette - just perfect. My husband got the 3 shrimp tacos entree and he said it was very good.
