I am writing this a few months after the visit but it was memorable in a great way.We had grown tired of playing in the water and navigating through the sharp seashells on the shore. My wife took a heck of a wave that drug her across the sharp shells, and as I scurried to find her under the wave, i eventually helped pull her up to a standing position. I didn’t expect much as this is in the Pavilion and Pier at Tybee - they have a fantastic location - but the hamburger and hot dog were great! Good size and cooked well. The ice cream is Hershey’s and the kids loved it! The bar had the best drinks we tried in town. The service was excellent at all of 3 of their venues. Fair value for what you receive. Will definitely go there again.

That is where the Riptide Bar is located since 1943!
Tony paid $4 for his PBR and I didn't get anything.
I left him to sit on the wooden decking while I walked to the end of the pier
Definitely recommend and will definitely go again
