I recently put a catering order in for an open house. I was behind the ball on time, and I was accommodated me at every step. From the person who took my initial call to the person who helped me at pickup. The menu looked delicious, and the food matched every expectation. Rave reviews from anyone and everyone who attended. I ordered the hush puppies with the bacon jam, crab & shrimp empanadas and fried green tomato sliders. Emily & Chef Eric were excellent to work with and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend Salt Island Fish & Beer for a real Tybee experience.

Honestly wasn't that great. Paid $28 for a mahi plate with rice. Fish was the size of my hand, steaming hot while the rice was kind of cold. I'm not sure if it was made in house or came out of a box due to the temperature and the flavor. My partner you the fish n chips, fish was pretty good. The batter was nice and so was the sauce. The fries weren't too great. Probably won't be going here again, $50 for two plates, no booze just water, and no apps is a lot for just average food in my opinion.

We stopped for lunch at Salt Island Fish and Beer. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips while I had the shrimp platter which was very good. I substituted cole slaw for the fries and my husband and I both thought it was the BEST cole slaw we have ever had, hands down. Highly recommend!

😱. Food was delicious, better than the server described. Speaking of the server, she was perfect, conversational professional and even talked to our Yellow Lab who was welcome at the patio table. GA fried and boiled shrimp 🍤 were a hit. And pet friendly too.

I went today to pick up their corn chowder. First of all, the building is neat and clean. The servers and bartender were so kind and expeditiously served my food and drink. The corn chowder is the absolute best I have ever had. Full of flavor, not overcooked and truly a wonderful blend of flavors. I can’t wait to go back and try more.
I have been to almost all of the restaurants on Tybee and the service and food was some of the best I’ve had here.

Went today for a quick thing of corn chowder. First time there. Staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. Very kind and helpful. The chowder was the absolute best I’ve ever had in my life. Not overcooked and FULL of flavor. The poblanos in it were just the chefs kiss to the flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Also, huge note, there is parking on the side of the building that you DO NOT have to pay for which is huge for Tybee. Looking forward to returning!
Food ok. Seemed like the fried shrimp were cooked in oil that needed to be changed. Service was great though.

Friday's all you can eat fish was excellent. I only wish I had a bigger stomach, because I'd get a third plate. Service was great also.
