Amazing food, good portions, friendly staff! We arrived at 5pm, we were seated quickly, the waitress came right to us. We both ordered the low country boil. I took a couple of pictures of the view & the food was sat on the table. I was shocked how quickly it came. I get the hype around this place now. Oh, & the price! $25 each for the amount of food we each got- amazing deal! It wasn't a boil full of just taters and a few shrimp & pieces of sausage. There was ample portions of shrimp, sausage and taters!
After dinner, we visited the gators, the birds, the kitties and the gift shop. Perfect after dinner stroll to walk off some of that full belly feeling before hopping back in the car.

Just ok… very touristy. We use to live on Whitemarsh and would make the short drive to the Crab Shack as Locals… It’s a fun place to take visitors but after today, my assessment is that for the price and once you get past the “experience” and evaluate the food - it’s just okay.
Service was… not great. We didn’t even get parts of our food until asking multiple times… The food lacked seasoning… fresh (it seems), but no flavor. What happened?
Beyond that - yes - you’re outside… by the water… hole in the table for your discards, wind in your hair, salt in the air… fun ponds with alligators and the entire space had cats and birds and great photo opportunities. I suppose this is one of those places you gotta visit at least once.
