Bartender denied me and my 23-year-old friends on a bachelorette trip. She needs to be fired for her lack of service and respect, She was racist and homophobic. Told us to leave without any explanation. How is a tourist town not welcoming to new people. Seems like the joint is meant for regulars and if ur not one of them then you are not welcome. Would give this place negative stars if I could. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE VISITING.

Terrible. There were used ashtrays on the tables. There was also a guy sitting at the bar clearly high or drunk. H could barely keep his eyes open. They were also out of all draft beer. It was as 6 on a Monday. It's very dark with blackout curtains closed. Couldn't wait to leave.

This place is great! Friendly easy going staff, a secluded patio to enjoy, pool room, fair prices, and good music! Short walk from the Pier. Great location.
If the kitchen isn’t currently open Nickies 1971 right across the street has great food also a great staff!

We were so excited to be visiting from Cincinnati and come across and Benagls bar on our family vacation! Mary was an awesome bartender and the owner, Jen, is so much fun! Thank you for welcoming us to the Sand Bar and talking with us for so long. It was wonderful. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, Bengals fan or not. Best Jello shots on the island by far!
