Oh. My. God. This place was a joy to find. What a hidden treasure! I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit that i will be talking about for years to come. The grits were perfection. The decor is fun and nostalgic, and the chicory coffee is hot and delicious. I will go considerably out of my way to return every chance i have.

Good service. Food was extremely good and was fast. It was a clean environment with a nice touch of decor inspired by the 57 Chevy and the era in which it resided. You can use card as well because they have modern pay systems which isn't always available in smaller diners.

The restaurant has under gone a price increase, which I totally understand BUT the prices listed/published on the menu should be honored! When we checked out, we questioned why our bill was $7 more than what was listed on the menu. The reason we were given: We increased our prices but the new menus haven't come in yet but we are have started using the new prices.Oh! And there is a 3% charge for using a debit/credit card and it was not published anywhere. I posted the above post on their Facebook page and they deleted the post and blocked me!

I'd like to start out by saying I couldn't find anywhere else in Unadilla to eat breakfast. I was the only person in the restaurant. it should have been the warning signs. I've read the other reviews it must be for dinner or lunch. When I walked in a lady behind the counter speaking abruptly, she said, "You eating in, just take a seat." A few minutes later, she brought me the menu on a piece of paper. All they have is scrambled eggs, so they do not cook eggs any other way for you. I ordered the three eggs with bacon, and everything in me wanted to get up and run, but I always gave a place a chance. The eggs were lukewarm, very dry, and definitely had been cooked ahead of time. The bacon appeared to have been baked in an oven, and it was definitely a lot of time. Again, it was lukewarm, very crispy, a little overcooked. The building and decor is a very unique place very down to earth with great decor and antiques, my favorite the full-size Elvis with the guitar. When you look to the other side, there is a complete old soda shop from the 50s. I guess they don't use it anymore, but it was again a very unique place. A young lady was wiping tables off maybe she was new, I don't know, but I asked if I could get some more tea and she looked at me like she had seen a ghost turned to the elderly man through the kitchen window and he motion for her to get the tea so she took my glass without saying a word disappeared came back with my tea handed it to me again without saying a word and walked away. I would have to say the elderly man in the kitchen window waved smiled and was very friendly. There was a younger man sitting behind the counter I guess because it was time for him to eat breakfast he felt no need to address me as I walked around looking at the decor but again it made it for a very unfriendly place. Definitely won't be eating breakfast there again it's on the back side of a track with unfriendly people. It reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock film where people disappear.

I had the double cheeseburger with everything on it. Possibly the best restaurant burger I've ever had. Loved it.

Food is tasty and everyone working here is super nice. I saw a previous review where someone cried and threw a fit over having a styrofoam cup but it is nice in the dead of summer to be able to take a cold drink with you after your meal. The restaurant itself is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and is clean and comfortable. Definitely coming back since this is a 2 minute drive for us.

We stopped on our way to Florida from Kentucky. This place is amazing in everyway. Mushroom swiss burger, onion rings, burger and fries...all cooked to perfection. Our server, Maggie (I hope I remembered correctly) was the sweetest server..sweet and very efficient. She went above and beyond. The decor was so awesome and the atmosphere was relaxing. We wish we had a place like this where we live. Hope to see you again sometime.Parking: Easy in and easy out
