“We went Friday night for the seafood buffet and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of fried and boiled shrimp, deviled crab, great fried fish and perfectly fried oysters. The buffet was great, served hot and dishes replenished as needed. And the homemade peach cobbler and hand churned ice cream was a great finish to a great meal. Along with the good food was a wait staff that could not be any more helpful and as friendly as could be.”

“We just finished a scrumptious meal at Benton Lee’s. The steaks were tender, cooked perfectly and very tasty. The atmosphere was friendly, our waitress was phenomenal, friendly and attentive. Fries and slaw were delicious. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. Has been a favorite dining experience for at least thirty years. No better steaks anywhere.”

“La Cabaña was the 1st restaurant we visited after Helene’s wrath of destruction. We’ve always enjoyed our meals from La Cabana but for some reason they have just seemed exceptionally delicious since Helene.

I always enjoy starting off with the queso and chips while my husband enjoys the Salsa. Then I always get the same thing whether lunch or dinner… The lunch #8 no beans all rice. My husband likes just about everything on the menu, so he tries something different every time. And on this visit, he ordered the “Freddy Burger”. Where do you think they got the name Freddy Burger from???

But to have a burger from a Mexican restaurant, it looked really good and he said, it tastes even better than it looks.”

“My mom and I stopped off to have some lunch there before work. She ordered the fish combo with onion rings and I ordered their three piece chicken fingers with onion rings combo special where you get the Sunday for $7 . The service was good and the chicken fingers were fresh and hot. I enjoy their chicken fingers over other places because they are always fresh and tender where other places tend to be hard.”
