Benton Lee's Steakhouse Reviews
By far the best steak I’ve had in a long time. We have always enjoyed the food at Benton Lee’s but it was so much better this time. Whoever the cook is now is definitely a keeper. The service was fast and so good. We will be back very soon.
Great service and excellent food! We ordered frog legs, gator bites, and sirloins. The steak was one of the best I've ever had.

Benton Lee's Steakhouse, located on the Altamaha River, offers a great atmosphere, service, and location. The steaks are often described as incredible, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The ribeye is something special—melt-in-your-mouth tender. Many say the steak is the best they have had in a long time, perfectly seasoned and cooked to order, with no sauce required. The beer is ice cold. The wait staff is excellent and friendly. However, some reviews note the steak can be a bit salty. One complaint mentioned the filet was not on the t-bone for the $35 price, and the fries were not hot, though they were tasty. Another reviewer found the steak average in size and thickness, not the huge steaks they expected. For those passing through Georgia, it is 100% worth the stop, but one reviewer felt it was not worth a 1.5-hour drive. If nearby, within 30 minutes, it is worth a return visit.
