The ribs were decent. They were tender and had enough sauce at the bottom of the plate, not a sweet sauce, more tangy. The potato salad had a little tangy flavor to it which I liked. The slaw had a good sweet flavor but it was chopped a little too fine for my preference.
Love Autrys BBQ! I'm a little biased because my grandfather opened it and my uncle runs it now, but this BBQ has always been all time favorite. The sauce is delicious!! I also love the spicy autrys sauce. Highly recommend the sandwiches with coleslaw! And the fries are freash cut and seasoned. Every time I come to visit I always stop by. They also have chicken BBQ sandwiches as well, in case you don't eat pork. One of the original BBQ spots in Valdosta Lake Park area...
Friendly staff.However, i wasn't impressed by the pork dinner with coleslaw and potato salad. The pickles screwed up the taste of the coleslaw.Potato salad is mushy and runny.Would have preferred buttered toast to the bread thrown in with the dinner. Expected fountain coke but it was canned coke. Cajun fries were decent and definitely spicy.Maybe this is how bbq places are here, but im used to more smoky flavor and bbq taste.
