“We really enjoyed it. Food and drinks are good, great atmosphere.”

“On a road trip, I decided to attend this lovely little restaurant based solely on the fact that they had a seafood bisque I wanted to try. The maitre'd seated me quickly, and the server was impeccable. I ordered a cup of the Spicy She Crab Bisque and the Chicken Caesar Salad.

Spicy she was! I did not see the word spicy on the menu; otherwise, I might not have ordered it. I had to drink liberal amounts of water. It was served with bits of hard bread that, once soaked in the soup, was delectable. It was quite good, though still too spicy for this Louisiana Cajun.

The Chicken Caesar salad combined lots of choices that didn't add to the dish. The dish had small diced tomatoes, not usually done, and the croutons were replaced with more of the hard bread attached to the soup. No amount of Caesar dressing would soften those. And this is an unusual thing for me to say about a Chicken Caesar salad: it could have used more lettuce. That was a very generous portion of Chicken, where usually the portions are skimpy.

Do visit this place, though. The atmosphere was very chill, there are different daily specials which were tempting, and it didn't get too loud or crowded. There is outdoor seating, more appropriate for cooler weather.”

Atmosphere: 6 PM. Nothing special. People begin to come in. No wave. Maybe Saturday night starts slower than Friday happy hour!
Service: Our server was tentative as most restaurant servers. Nothing extra.
Food: Caesar salad was a disappointment. Romain lettuce was definitely plentiful. A few stale homemade croutons (not eatable), very minimal parmesan cheese, and dressing.
The highlight; the Berta’s pizza with added pepperoni was a hit. Recommended for both vegans or meatans, if you want to pay a higher price for pizza. Beverages at restaurants are always expensive. Probably will not return unless it happens to be a live music nite. Drinks and appetizers only.”

“This is a decent club that used to be much better. The little cafe is obviously the lowest priority to management. There are not enough tables for their customers, especially when people who don't have food hog them and people who bought food have to eat standing up waiting for one of 6 tables. There is plenty of room for more and they used to have many more. The drink fountain is normally out of most drink flavors. But six tables, really? Come on Sam's, you can do better! You used to.”

“Very good restaurant in the area. We stopped by on our way home from our trip and were pleasantly surprised. We had the Stone Pho and the Teriyaki Chicken dish which were both very good. The Stone Pho was steaming, and you could tell the Pho noodles were freshly homemade. As for drinks, we had the tropical fruit tea, coconut jelly drink, and the Thai milk tea, all of which were also delicious. We highly recommend the tropical fruit tea. It was very refreshing. The service was stellar and very attentive, and the restaurant was clean. Overall, we had a great experience, and the food and drinks were excellent!”

“It's not every day you find a Drive-Thru restaurant that isn't a franchise. That alone made me curious enough to try it out while travelling. It was really excellent! The buns of my burger looked a little smooshed as they do in all the pictures here. But that didn't cause any issues. The toppings, especially the onions were cut big and fresh. Probably the best burger I've ever eaten in my car! Shake and Fries were also quite good. I didn't rate atmosphere because I didn't go inside.”

“We went in after a doctors appointment at around 4:30. There were no customers in. We were greeted very warmly and served promptly. I apologized to the girl behind the desk about the mess My son was making, and she told me not to worry about it. She told me that they do not mind cleaning up after kids as they know the Superman ice cream will get everywhere. I really appreciate them being so kid friendly, and her not being bothered by the mess that was made. I did clean it up for reference. She then talk to us and made us feel welcome while we ate our ice cream and we left. The atmosphere is cozy, the ice cream is good, and the service is great.

“Shout out to a local business. El Cazador at 1600 N Ashley St, Valdosta, GA 31602 not just open, but HONORING THEIR SPECIALS with 10 dollar fajita plates. I purchased two and quite frankly it was so much for we put one away for tomorrow. They were polite, kind and instead of gouging during the 'cane they are giving back to the community. Their systems are down for the CC machines, so cash is king...but hot super delicious food, tons of it...fed family for 10 bucks! And service was with a smile.”

“Update: Dirty Turkey was great, but sadly did not have any shrimp in it when we ordered the Chicken and Shrimp. First time stopping in today. Got the 2 fried porkchop dinner and shared it with my wife. Porkchops were well seasoned and delicious. Batter on them had a nice crunch and taste. Fries were seasoned and crispy. I'm very picky on my coleslaw but this coleslaw is the best I've ever had. Also everyone that worked there that we interacted with were very friendly. Will be coming back soon. Also got the Dirty Turkey with chicken and shrimp but saving that for dinner tonight.”
