“I’ve been in town for 2 months and have tried a few other spots for tacos because I can never make it out of work in time to check this place out. Tacos happen to be my favorite food so I know a thing or two about them ?. All the other places I’ve tried have been okay but EL GIRASOL blew them out of the water! I got carne asada tacos (my fave) and they were soooo packed with flavor! The corn tortillas were soft but not to the point that they break apart when you’re eating. The green sauce had the tiniest bit of a kick but it was also very very flavorful. It’s safe to say that this is my new favorite taco spot and I will definitely be going way more often!“
“Can’t say enough great things about this location and staff! We had a catering order picked up and a couple of things were forgotten when they loaded up. My husband was almost home with the food when they realized and called. The manager offered to deliver it himself to our home, 25-30 mins away, almost instantly. Outside of this occasion all of my visits there have been pleasant and quick! 10/10 recommend.“
“Look, definitely give these guys a try. The food is always fresh and the portions are huge. We always have enough for 2 meals. The staff is very friendly and quick. If you want value, pick anything on the menu. We feed our family of 4, for about $50 for 2 meals. We get fajitas, various tacos, tamales, burritos. So, we don't get the cheapest. “This place is a gem! I went with 4 adults and one child and we were all thoroughly pleased with everything. They had delicious Jamaica juice which is hard to find where I am from. We all ordered something different, and tried a little of everyone's. I had the carne asada burrito and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was typical of a small taco shop, but with plenty of seating to accommodate small or large parties. The prices were very low. If I lived nearby, I would eat here all the time.Kid-friendliness: The kid portion was the perfect size, she got 3 mini quesadillas with beef and a choice of rice or fries. She tried the rice. She had never had Spanish style rice, and loved it.“
“This place is inside of a Mexican supermarket. They have did some renovations and added a few things to their outside seating area. Everything is really nice. Not very big but can hold a nice amount of people and very intimate. The employees are very nice helpful and friendly. Food is very good I consider it pretty much authentic Mexican food for sure. Prices are very affordable there is a special every day. Thursday is one of my favorite the tacos are $1.50.“

“Zach is the BEST and apparently is good at everything? On top of being the perfect server, I got stuck under my car outside and he LIFTED the car with his pure brute strength!!! THEN my husband’s cat got stuck up in a tree and Zach climbed up the tree all by himself and SAVED the cat. After that he traveled far and wide JUST to find cherries to put on my daiquiri. We hear he’s a model AND a doctor. We love Zach. Ask for Zach.“
“Ordered 3 types of empanadas for delivery. All three were equally delicious. Best empanadas in town. Definitely didn't disappoint. Food was hot and fresh. Portions were great. Empanadas were large and full of meat. Will definitely be a continuous customer.“
