My Grandparents and I were traveling to Jacksonville when we came across this amazing place. The first time I'd ever tried an oyster and I MUST say that I was pleasantly surprised! Fresh and delicious! My Grandparents both had the lunch boil and loved it! I had a crab cake with a side of coleslaw and my my my was it absolutely delicious!! Definitely coming back every trip down to FL! A huge was the calm, but wonderful atmosphere. A wonderful place overall!

Great place for southern seafood. The grouper blackened sandwich is awesome. Go mayo or the Bubba Bang homade sauce on it. The crabcakes are great the house romalaude sauce is perfect for that. The calamari is fresh and tender perfect small bites and the marinara is popping too. Had steamed oysters but coctail sauce and crackers and there was so many I had to come back later fir the grouper sandwich.
So good came back for lunch and the calamari, crabcakes and a fried grouper fillet next day.
This place is a MUST stop if passing through. Ppl are nice and the ladies are sweet southern bells that you only see in the south.

My wife and I really enjoyed the service and the seafood Site we got at bubba Jack's. My wife doesn't even like seafood and she ate an entire plate full of fish. ADT restaurant has the Crosby's would say we had a fantastic meal with fantastic service. The combination is what we always look for in our eating out experience.

I had the fried shrimp with fries and slaw. Shrimp and fries were terrific. The slaw was old as evident from the almost gray color...my wife had the grouper, cheese grits and slaw. The grouper was reheated in the microwave we think because it wasn't at all crispy and it was very tough. The grits were the best part of her meal as she too got the not fresh slaw. Service was great and the beer was cold.

Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!

BEWARE!!! PRICES are not what they advertise on their website. We went for their Grouper sandwich @ lunchtime 11am advertised on site 10 .99 with one side reasonable ended up paying 16.99 good food but not that good.

We absolutely love Bubba Jax and make a point to go each time we are in the area. We had been in St Augustine for a week and were on our way home, the food, service and atmosphere blew every place we went to in St Augustine away!! We were seated right away, we arrived at the right time it seemed as it was packed by the time we left! We ordered our drinks and the gator tail for our appetizer. The gator tail was AMAZING! We could not get over how great tasting it was!! My husband ordered the grouper dinner that included 2 blackened grouper, 2 sides (salad and homemade onion rings) and hush puppies. He said all was fantastic, with great flavors! I ordered the Bubba Jax combo that included snow crab legs, corn, sausage and potatoes with Bubba Jax seasoning and drawn butter. There are no adequate words to describe how PHENOMENAL this meal was! Seasoned to perfection! The Bubba Jax seasoning was beyond great and just added to the amazing flavors! Our server Tracie was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! She was very busy but kept checking on us and making sure we had all we needed. We were too full for dessert but we left more than satisfied! This will forever be our favorite place, for many reasons!

A nice, authentic little Georgia fish house, conveniently located near I75 and an easy walk from a lot of local hotels. Nothing fancy, but good food and friendly staff. We had a nice calamari appetizer, m wife had a salad with grouper and the grouper portion was huge! I had crab cakes which were delicious, along with light and tasty onion rings and cole slaw.

Came in thinking jt would be an ok place. I ordered the grouper meal with a salad and fries.
The salad was one of the best salads I have ever had. I never thought to put mozzarella on a salad like that. It also seemed freshly made. The fries were similar, hot and firm Ina good way.
The grouper was so firm, but perfectly cooked and seasoned well with th3 blackened seasoning.
The only issue I have is on the alcohol cooler. Clearly placed Trump sticker. I hope they learn that Trump is the worst thing for small businesses like this one.
