Captain Hook seafood & chicken

I wasted 33.00 on shrimp, catfish fillet, and a piece of snapper. I had the 15 piece shrimp and my husband had the 3 piece fish dinner . The shrimp was overcooked couldn't eat them. The was too hard and that snapper I don't know what that was. Want be back wasted time and money.

I’m start off by saying they prices and food taste better than hip hop. The food is also cooked and seasoned better. Not to mention to get more food here than hip hop. You get better bang for your buck. I promise I’m not just saying that. I would say they slept on but they had a fair amount of business when I was there. If you want flavorful fried crispy not soggy fish and chicken stop by you won’t regret it! Solid 9.5 outta 10

It was the worst fish I have ever had. It was so fishy that I could only eat one bite before throwing it away. The hush puppies and fries were extremely overcooked. The guy was nice and offered to make something else, but after seeing how it was prepared behind the counter, I chose to decline that offer.

This is a brand new restaurants opened up on Northside drive to Mom and pop's restaurant at the old house building for locals at know it the place was hot inside their stuffy the lady that young girl that was there in the front working she was very polite but all they have is lemon pepper seasoning for their food that's it nothing else for their wings nothing else the food was bland didn't taste very good at the fish with habit overcooked so I'm going to have to give them not to go to place their overall experience was not delightful a tall is very very unsatisfied with service the food in that sphere. Had tilapia fish and shrimp and fries it tastes very bland it wasn't very good to me at all so that's all I can say about it

I'm going to leave this here because I wish someone had warned me. This place is just Hip Hop chicken under a different name. Nothing against Hip Hop, but if you're looking for something different this is not. And like a previous review stated, they are bad about leaving out condiments.

Best gizzards I have had. Good fish, chicken wings, and shrimp. Great service.

Wings and catfish on point

The person they have working at their front counter and also waitress was great. Food is okay. The service was excellent. Wasn't expecting that type of service out of place like that.

Always Hot and Fresh.

I ordered the fried whiting fish with fries. It came with two large pieces of fish and a generous amount of fries. My only complaint is that they didn't offer me any tartar sauce or condiments, nor did I receive any napkins. But the price was reasonable at $7.99 for the lunch special. All in all, I would probably eat there again. You just will likely have to request condiments if you'd like some.

I ordered chicken wings, shrimp, and fries with lemon pepper seasoning. The chicken and the shrimp were pretty good but the fries needed a little seasoning. The lemonade was delicious.

It is a simple old style kind of restaurant. A few booths, and a counter to order at. I have eaten there a few times. So far I get the catfish. It is always perfectly cooked. The fried mushrooms are great. The fry’s are fries. But while hot they are good fries. I would go more often but it is completely across town for me.

Food good and hot. Employees were very pleasant.
