When I first moved up here, my cousin introduced me to this place! I instantly loved it š the food was fresh, hot, and very well seasoned! Iāve been here two years and the quality of food is still the same.
My only issue is about a week ago I drove up there craving some chicken & fish. When I got to the drive thru the manager was very argumentative and dismissive so I drove away. He should work on his customer service skills a little more, that attitude has to go. Maybe he was having a bad day but that shouldnāt affect his negative attitude towards me.

MAKE SURE YOU CLARIFY! I wanted a 4 piece chicken tinder meal with corn nuggets AS THE SIDE. Was given a 4 piece chicken tinder meal with fries and an additional add-on of corn nuggets, raising my price to $21 and some change for one person. So next time, I will try again to specify harder that I donāt need the fries. LOL just a heads up for whoeverās reading this. Iāll post my charge along with this too to show you it was over $21, as they did not provide a receipt. It seems like they will do everything they can to make it more costly for you, but I understand thatās business. Just be specific when you order. Oh! And yes, like all the others, I waited about 30-40 minutes in the drive through line. š

Everything was covered in a white seasoning powder...OVERLY done, couldn't even finish eating the food. The flavor was lacking, fish was not cleaned properly, you could taste the dirt, long wait to get food.

Recommend the south side location, but not the north side under different ownership
The local business I was installing the network system in mentioned Hip-Hot āMust eat thereā. I went yesterday evening and ordered Tilapia dinner. I loved the food so much. I went again today and ordered the Louisiana chicken sandwich with Hushpuppies. The Tilapia was lightly patted with perfectly spiced flowers, and the sandwich was carefully crafted . The bun in the bottom topped with bed of vegetables and coleslaw and crowned with chicken patty freshly fried and pan tossed with Louisiana sauce. First I started with the hushpuppies ( little upcharge from the fries but believe me itās worth it). By the time I got to the sandwich, first it was wrapped with its own paper. Then I was worried by the time I get to the sandwich the bottom bun will be soaked with the fried chicken and sauce like other restaurants. Not this place. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. I looked inside from the drive through window and saw the owner working inside. That explains it. If you ever pass by Valdosta, GA stop here for a great service, food and price.

Good Food, But extremely poor Customer Service The service I received from both Karen and Chey was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed rushed and impatient. Constantly rushing and interrupting me as I was trying to place my order. In the middle of ordering drinks to go with the meals, I was suddenly told that he couldnāt finish my order because the line was backing up into the road, and I needed to pull up to the window. When I got to the window, it turned out they hadnāt even entered my order, so I had to repeat it 3-4 times in total. To add to this, while replacing my order at the window, Karen saw I had $100 in hand. Before even giving me my total, she abruptly said, āI donāt have change for that.ā She then asked if I was paying by card or cash without ever providing the total. When I asked for the total, she seemed irritated by the question. Overall, the service is extremely poor, with dismissive and inattentive staff. It completely overshadowed the quality of the food.

Pulled in about 4 minutes before closing. They were probably all cleaned up and ready to leave for the night, and I felt terrible about it. The staff was awesome and didnt make me feel like the huge asshole that I was.

Ordered through Uber eats and was excited about trying it. Husband said the food is awesome. Idk if the cook is new but everything had a thick layer of salt. We had the chicken, mushrooms,crab cakes and fries. I'm sure the food itself is great but I couldn't taste it over all the salt.

The grease needed to be changed. The fries were old and they barely put any powder on our food. I wouldnāt go there again, but the one in Albany, Ga is on point!

The food was good but the young man who took my order was not. I repeated my order twice to him and when at the windows I asked about my order he replied it don't come with that. I told him I know that is why I asked for it. I asked for it twice. He just walked away. He had someone else give us out food at the window. Customer Service was bad!!!!
