Holt's Sweet Shop Valdosta

I went on a donut tasting adventure to see where I would go when I have a sweet tooth. This donut was DELICIOUS from start to end.I tried a glazed donut. It was fluffy, slightly dense but light and almost tasted like a honey bun. I can't wait for the hot light to be on to try it then. The customer service was grand, the young lady was informative.

This bakery absolutely deserves to have an review about there establishment. First of all please do not confuse them with the Holts Bakery that is in Douglas & Fitzgerald, Ga. Although they are great as well other than the downfall of charging for every extra thing now when they use to not do that as I have always ordered all the birthday cakes from them. But - Seriously getting back to this bakery that has no connection with them. These people are the ABSOLUTE BEST IN THERE QUALITY!!! And, although the other same name bakery is excellence as well in the taste but listen here this Valdosta Bakery goes far and above better. I don't know how they can produce it to be so much better. Awesome the other difference they make 3 layers cakes vs the other bakery does there standard as 2 layers. The employees are eager to help you with any special requests of being complimentary at no additional cost. This is my new bakery and seriously this is an must try bakery that you owe it to yourself to try how literally superior they are! These people don't deserve an 5 Star but rather an 10 STAR!!! They really should consider making this an chain by offering franchise services to have in multiple towns. There taste would absolutely survive as they used nothing but the BEST products of ingredients and am sure that makes them stand out from all of them and lastly they are not skippy on there product their portion are plenty as they are not an built on quantity but QUALITY! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wendy's lobby wasn't open so I came here to grab a fast breakfast. Ended up getting an apple donut and honey bun. They were alright. But nothing out of a bakery should be cold.

Jay and Michael were such great people. they didnt treat us as different individuals but treated us as if we were friends. the food was AMAZING. served with great quality and respect from both people. The Atmosphere is amazing and everyone is so friendly. i even put in an application after i went because of how great they were!!

The donut is a 5 star, but these windows and ceilings need help. Some windows have dough on them and others have dirty from maybe two years ago.

I visited this location with my two sons, to get red velvet for my son and donuts for the other son. Upon entering there was no greeting and when I walked to the counter, the young lady (with glasses and the gold streak) inquired about what we wanted to order and gave a cold stare. It was weird and uncomfortable to say the least. My son wanted to purchase half a cake and the young lady could not find one in the freezer and I guess she was not willing to cut the whole cake behind the glass. Some profit is better than none at all!

We ended up purchasing two donuts (a regular and a creme filled one) which came out to $5 after tax...way too much for only two donuts. As we left out my son, told the young lady to have a good day...which is wild because shouldn't she have been telling us this? I barely heard her respond back to him. It's sad that we encountered horrible customer service for two expensive donuts. I like supporting small businesses but I will not spend my money at Holt's. There is another popular donut shop that has been around for decades, with good customer service, delicious donuts, reasonable prices and two locations.

Details first. I got a dozen donuts and eight cookies. The donuts were good, but I won’t get them here again. $19 is just too much for some donuts. There are options in town that are as good or better for less money. They had four different kinds of cookies and I got two of each. Three of the types of cookies were best described as okay, the fourth was an oatmeal cookie. I can’t say the oatmeal cookie was the worst cookie I’ve ever had, but it was the worst oatmeal cookie I’ve ever had.
The counter help was either annoyed that someone came in on a Tuesday afternoon or was having a really bad day, maybe both. Either way, between the product and the service I’ll get my bakery items somewhere else in the future.

Their donuts were GOOD. I ordered a dozen variety, unfortunately in couldn't try all of them, but the strawberry and blueberry were delicious.

The young lady that helped me was not friendly and seemed very grumpy. There was also an employee (baker maybe?) sleeping right next to the window. I get it, probably started early, but go in the back.

I recently visited the Hlts Sweet Sho at 3145 N Ashley St, in Valdosta, GA. I parked my car in the parking lot that has plenty of parking spaces. I then walked into the bakery and was quickly met and greeted by the gentleman working behind the counter. He then walked me around all the selections and answered the questions I had. I purchased a half of a German chocolate cake and several lemon squares. All delicious.

The atmosphere is dirty and bleak (the lighting is really bad, and i am not one to notice). It’s not inviting and the products look not well taken care of. Im not one to leave negative reviews easily but the place really needs improvement with products and cleanliness. I walked out because I could not pick one thing that didn’t look that bad. Sorry about it but it really needs a lot of improvement, also when it comes to providing a product list to order from.
