Overall good experience. Food was good, the carne was not overcooked. Chips and salsa were very tasty. Tamale had a unique flavor that my wife enjoyed. No migraine that night, so no MSG in the food we ordered. I would go there again when visiting.

Rodeo Mexican Restaurant has truly been the best Mexican spot in South Georgia for years, offering amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. I totally recommend you go, whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s definitely worth the trip!

this is the absolute best Mexican food in Valdosta. The prices and portions are on point and cannot be beat. We were there for lunch and ordered tacos,macho burrito (which was on special for only $6.75),and the chicken lunch fajitas. You can't go wrong ordering any of these delicious dishes. This is now our go to restaurant for Mexican food. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. The wait staff was excellent too,ask for Joshua,he is fantastic.

I recommended Rodeo for their lunch specials. Not surprised at the price increase but definitely disappointed in being charged an additional $4.75 when requesting extra salsa for 2 of our purchased entrees. Where as local competitors El Cazador nor La Brazas does so. Food for thought.

Rodeo is a gem in the Valdosta area with amazing lunch specials and very affordable dinner specials as well. A family of 4 can eat here with any kind of budget. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with Spanish and English speaking servers. The drink specials are great with top shelf versions being affordable. An average person can come sit down and eat lunch with time to spare on getting back to work. Highly recommend Rodeo.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with Spanish and American options. Plus fried ice cream.
