Everything you look for in a small town barbecue place. The best service I’ve ever had and world class pulled pork. Everything sampled was flavorful and had a personal touch. 10/10 experience, Sam knows bbq!
Sam is a wonderful, warm and friendly man. His BBQ is definitely the best around. We had chicken, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, coleslaw and Mac & cheese. It was all excellent. We'll be back whenever we're in the area, which I hope will be soon!

My dad and I were driving to Atlanta, looking for bbq along the way. It was raining heavily and we stopped at two other places along the way, only to find them closed for the night. When we got to Sam's we were warmly welcomed but told that they only had a single portion of pulled pork left. Then the man behind the counter insisted we take it for free. It was delicious, some of the best pulled pork I've had, and the perfect amount for the two of us.
I'll be sure to go back the next time I'm in that part of the state, but until then, I urge anyone who reads this to check out this place. Great bbq and kind people. Thank you!

Delicious bbq and super friendly service. Prices were good and they give you a LOT of food. The gentleman helping us was very kind and let us sample different things. We got the sausage, pulled pork, potato salad, and baked beans. Beans were my favorite. Come here if you want authentic southern bbq.

Amazing place and amazing atmosphere. I'm a truck driver and love trying different barbeque in different states with my wife and dogs. I had always Givin Ol' Rudy's barbeque just south of Atlanta the best, for 4 years until I tried Sam's. Sorry Ol' Rudy but you lose. Georgia by far the best state in my opinion for barbeque.

Stopped by earlier today; my family drove from Michigan to Florida and this was on the way, and wow, was I glad it was! Absolutely fantastic meats and sides (I got the two meats and sides - barbecue ham, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and baked beans) that I could die for. Sam was also extremely personable and friendly, too. My dad commented that this place could make a fortune if it was located where we are and I agree!

All a real bbq/smoked meat spot is suppose to be all the way down to the family atmosphere that makes this one of my new favorite spots. Whenever I’m in Valdosta I’ll be stopping by. The meats and sides were awesome and the dark sauce was perfect too. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Today was my first time eating at Sam's BBQ And my experience was absolutely amazing!!The people are friendly and the food exceeded my expectations. You know it's good when you take a bite and start dancing. The ribs was falling off the bone. The mac and cheese was creamy with the right amount of cheese and the green beans with potatoes was just right. I also had a slice of strawberry cake that was really good too. I wish I had a picture to upload but I couldn't stop eating it lol

The absolutely best BBQ I have had in awhile! We were told Sam wasn’t there but the gentleman that took care of my girlfriend and I was extremely polite and took great care of us. I can tell this is a family joint because of all of the food was made with love. 11/10 recommend this place. Order everything on the menu, especially the ribs!
