Southern Shores Seafood

I normally love southern shores until my husband received shrimp in his meal which he is allergic. This has not happen before in all the times we have gone. At first, the restaurant said they would comp him a meal since it was a to go order and he was already home. However, they call back and said no after saying the problem was that he didn't disclose he was allergic. However, on the phone they admit to cross contamination of their meats. Isn't that a food code violation? Well, I guess it will be awhile before we go back especially since I went twice during preplanning. I guess I went one too many times for the month of August.

It has been years since I have been to this restaurant but I promise I won’t wait that long to go back. The food was delicious and was hot and fresh when we got it. The service was also great. My son and I love crab legs and these did not disappoint. I also like that I was able to get a regular portion and he was able to get a bigger portion.

So when I got my appetizer which was green fried tomatoes they were red and they didn't taste that good also when I ordered shrimp scampi they only gave me half and then forgot to bring the other half so then I had to ask the waitress about it then she went to the back and got the other half but that wasn't the real problem when I got my shrimp scampi it was only shrimp and butter and it didn't even taste good

Place was clean and polished but if you order I recommend you don’t get the crab unless you want to throw up. Everything else was pretty scrumptious.

If you're looking for that perfect battered crisp fried seafood. My husband loved the cheese grits. This is the place to be. Food wasn't greasy or soggy. Perfectly fried catfish and shrimp. Hot food. The foid is not heavily seasoned but good. Location is very easy to find. Plenty parking. I recommend this restaurant..

Today as always the food was excellent. The service was great and KeeKee was on the ball. We just love the assortment of seafood and fresh cooked vegetables only made more special by it being a good price at lunchtime!

I had the clam dinner today. Jasmine was our server and was exceptionally hospitable. The food was amazing and the restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and full of friendly staff.

This was our first time visiting. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with smiles and professionalism. The food was delicious and fresh. We'll be back. They currently have a 4.5 rating but they deserve more than that.

We were recommended to go to this restaurant by family members and we knew when we walked into this place it was going to be good.

It was spotless, and one of the cleanest places we have eaten at in a while. The staff was fantastic, and our waitress, was an absolute great lady and so friendly and welcoming. She really made us feel right at home.

My wife, daughter and I had great food that we will be telling everyone who we know that lives close that it is a must go too. Every bite was pure perfection. We're already planning on making this it one of our regular go-to's whenever we visit the area again.
