Came here with my husband on my birthday! This restaurant was nice inside! There were some issues with my food. I had to send my chicken back because it was tough and chewy. The sauce was overbearing and I couldn’t finish the main entree, but my sides were great! Our waitress did her best to accommodate for the chicken that I wasn’t satisfied with ❤️. The service was okay, it was pretty busy in there so I understood that our waitress had other tables. The atmosphere was good, it was music playing and friendly faces.

As soon as we walk in, we got immediate seating so that was one of the best parts of my experience. The restaurant itself can get pretty crowded and it feels like a lot is going on around you. So you may be sitting right behind someone. When we ordered our food, I believe we waited about 30 to 45 minutes for the food to come out. I ordered the cod with lemon sauce, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The fish was good but the sauce I thought would taste way better, but unfortunately, I was let down. The green beans were some of the best green beans I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes seems like they were instant mashed potatoes and had been sitting in a heated pot. My wife had to send her chicken back to the kitchen because it was too tough to eat, and the sauce was way too strong of mustard. They didn’t give us a hard time of taking the chicken off of the bill and also tried to bring out a different dish, but we respectfully declined. It was not exactly a terrible experience, but I just don’t think I would be going back there in a while due to the first impression. The employees there are pretty nice people, though I will give them that.

Edit**
I came back on 8/29 (night after) for take out, met the owner. Asked about the art on the wall. Just curious if he wanted to sell a piece. Just a general question. Needless to say I won’t be coming back. I emphasize, the staff and food is fantastic. But damn.. There is no need to be condescending to a customer. Especially for what was spent in two days for dinner and tipping the staff.

I really liked this place. Food was great, the staff were very kind, my pretentious scotch was what I needed.
I ordered my filet medium, and it came medium rare. Perfect! Seriously, everything was awesome! Can’t wait to come back next time.

Great spot for dinner. You can tell a lot of effort is placed into the small details of the food, service, and atmosphere. Recommended!

Nice location and well decorated. The appetizers were great and served quickly.
After being the second table in the door at opening, we enjoyed watching everyone else around us eat their amazing meal while we patiently waited.
For an hour and a half my wife patiently awaited her drink refill as we also patiently waited our meal.
While getting that unexpected rushes happen, an hour and a half is a bit much, especially when you are on a timeline. Since we had 27 minutes to be where we needed to be, we asked another waitress/host to find our waitress (who was MIA for 20 minutes) since we were trying to find her to cancel the remainder of our order. Another 15 minutes goes by and we ask the manager (unbeknownst to us) to help us find our waitress to cancel the order. As we are speaking to said manager, our waitress FINALLY makes her next appearance another with our food… after being told to come see us to cancel our order.
As we explain the issue to the waitress, the manager comes back over. And rather than listening and owning up to what happened, he talked over my wife as she was trying to explain our experience. While repeatedly saying, “I don’t know what to do to make this better” (rather than offer solutions), the manager continued to waste our time even more by refusing to give us our ticket so we can just leave—even after saying we just need to pay the whole bill so that we can leave in time.
Don’t get me wrong, all leaders should have their employees back, but this was clearly negligence. And to have the manager stand extremely close and speak in an angry voice, unwilling to admit that his staff had failed to communicate properly or that they just hid to avoid canceled orders made it seem that he was covering for them.
He asked what can he do to help, I offered to pay for everything that we had received, he was not happy with that, he kept arguing with me that he had not heard anything about this…. Probably due to the errors with his staff or he’s just completely dishonest.
In the end we still paid for the full meal price that we were not allowed to eat as we were on a tight timeline.
We tried to explain to them that we could not take the meals since they wouldn’t be safe to eat after sitting in a hot car for 6+ hours, but they did not either comprehend or hear us in their extremely loud establishment.
Do not expect to enter this location when the doors open and be out within an 1.5hrs at a minimum, even though you’ll have the opportunity to watch those that enter after you enjoy their lovely meal.
FYI: our bill for our uneaten meal was $183.00 at this lovely establishment. We would have happily paid twice over if we received our food at an appropriate time.

My boyfriend and I walked into The Bistro at 10pm on a Saturday night, expecting to enjoy a late dinner after a long day. According to their posted hours online, they are open from 5pm to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, so we believed we had arrived well within their operating hours.
When we entered, several employees greeted us with smiles, and we stood at the host stand waiting to be seated. However, an older man soon approached us and, rather abruptly, said, “Uhh we—we’re closed.” His tone was dismissive and awkward, and the interaction left us feeling confused and unwelcome.
This experience unfortunately overshadowed any potential we had to enjoy the atmosphere or menu and we will not be returning.

Good overall experience. I wasn’t fond of the way the escargot was presented and tasted. Like the snails were sitting in a mushroom cap then covered completely with a layer of puff pastry
My husband and I decided to go to the Bistro for our date night last weekend. We got to the restaurant at 6 pm along with several other parties with no reservation. The party behind us was a bit impatient, but we were all seated within 5 min. We decided to sit outside since the weather was so nice. In such a small restaurant and with limited staff we did wait a few minutes for our waitress to make her way outside but she was wonderful and my glass was never empty and she was continuously checking in on us. My husband and I both ordered the drunken angus and it was cooked perfectly. Our meals were delicious! The owner even came out and checked on us and was as nice as could be! Overall a great experience.
