Our experience at The Southern Cellar was amazing! The goat flatbread was delicious, and the Rosy Outlook flight was perfectly curated. The owner even made us a custom flight afterward, which was a really nice touch. The chef, who’s clearly very talented, offered us a sample of her s’mores dessert bar experiment. So good! Relaxed atmosphere, great service. We are definitely planning on coming back.

I had a really nice experience. The staff was really helpful and gave good recommendations for wines. This is a nice place for hanging out w/friends and drinking wines and socializing. Seating is limited, but I would definitely recommend it. Unexpected surprise in Valdosta.

Had a stellar time here the other night heading through Valdosta on my way back to Bham. The chocolate torte was delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It was quiet and cozy, and the young lady waiting on everyone was so sweet. It was conveniently located to where I was staying and the prices were about what you'd expect from a similar place in Bham. If I'm ever back that way, I'll be sure to make a pit stop again.

Chef did an outstanding job choosing the meats and cheeses for our charcuterie. The house made jelly is awesome and the Greek flatbread was really good as well. And I can't forget the stuffed Juanita peppers—So, so good—wish there were more on the plate! Our waitress was very busy, but she still did a great job taking care of everyone. We loved our wine flight choices (O.G. and Sweet Mix). Would have preferred not to sit at a high top table inside and to hear the music a little better, but the food and service far out-weigh those things.

Wonderful little wine bar with a great atmosphere. Nicole was our bar keep and she kept us entertained with pleasant conversation. I had the Old World wine flight which was the best wine flight I have ever enjoyed. My wife had the white wine flight, which she enjoyed. We enjoyed the appetizers, breads and chef's charcuterie board and finished with red velvet cookies which were fresh baked. We will definitely be back.

Customer service is not the best. We ordered a glass, and the wine tasted like that bottle had been open for over a day. We asked for the check, and the server did not ask why, even though the glass was full. As soon as we paid, she said do you want a glass to go. Never ask why we left that early when we had a reservation.
This is my favorite spot in Valdosta for date night, or fun with friends. This was my first time going for a wine tasting and I will absolutely do it again. Everything was awesome and I learned a lot about wines that I normally would not have tried- and I loved them!
