Restaurant was festive and decorated for christmas, with stockings hung up for the employees. The waitress, named Mel, was very nice and social, and we had a conversation about christmas movies while ordering. My only complaint was that the men's bathroom was dirty, but I would not push the blame onto the workers because the restaurant was very busy.Parking: Lots of parking and it was extremely easy to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: The workers always kept it kid-friendly and wore uniform or christmas attire.

I suffer from serious abdominal pain and other issues that causes me take longer than usual to use the restroom. The manager who name Rachel literally banged on the restroom door as I was washing my hands about to exit the restaurant and said she was going to call the police if I don’t come out the restroom! I’m contacting corporate as soon as they open Monday . I am highly embarrassed and felt racially profiled. I’ve never in my life had anybody tell me they were going to call the police on me just because I was using the bathroom! I am an educated black woman and she talked to me like I was a dumb criminal! You never know what someone is going through as a manager she should’ve just asked was everything fine, instead she yelled and threatened to call the police in front of the entire Waffle House . I’m going to the furthest extent to make sure something is done about this. I tried to privately resolve situation and she showed no care or sympathy.

Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life.Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day.This particular location is across from the Pilot and just off of Interstate 75. The staff was friendly and it was an overall positive experience. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways.For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one.If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try.
