It's a small restaurant with good food and friendly ladies serving southern comfort food. My wife and I ate lunch there, not a single complain in any of the food we ordered! It was delicious! I highly recommend their food. Come and see for yourself. My wife and I are truck drivers and go all over this country; places like these are gems of our society; and are dying off.

I been coming here for the last 3 weeks on Sunday to get my favorite meal there so far. Meatloaf, Mac and cheese, and candied yams with a roll!! They have much more, you have to give them a try.

Rude young cashier. They also lie to customers on Fridays. They sell swai and tell people its catfish. All the real fish lovers can easily tell. If you want real catfish go to gulf seafood right next door. Horrible first experience will never go back.

How can you not make cornbread right at a southern restaurant?

The cornbread was dry and had no flavor. I couldn't eat more than one bite.

I'd like people from outside the south to know how good southern cooking is, and this restaurant is not an example.

The mashed potatoes tasted like KFC mashed potatoes. The country fried steak was average. The green beans and cabbage were good.

I gave this restaurant a try based on the 4.6 star rating. I will not be back.

Every time I buy from Rooster, I'm never disappointed. Today, I had cabbage, mac and cheese, turkey wings and rice. Literally, the meat was juicy and falling off the bone...... keep up the good work !!
