I'm a food snob. My wife has raved about this place for a while so I decided to give it a try. Don't let the "hole in the wall" placement of the business fool you. By far the Best Southern Fried chicken I have eaten since I was a kid. Crunchy, spiced well, and juicy on the inside. MMMM! MMMM! The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. The green beans were delicious. The breads were good. The SWEET tea is all Southern and yummy. The staff are very kind and thanked us multiple times for coming in. I really wanted to personally thank the chef but didn't want to interrupt the craft going on in that kitchen. If you are near, stop by. You will not regret it.Parking: Enough spots because they are very efficient.

First time here and it definitely will not be my last. The staff was friendly and very patient. I had to wait on the Mac n cheese being cooked and I'm so glad I did bc the cook stuck those toes in it. So flavorful and cheesy!! The red velvet cake was really good too Moist and rich. For some great down home southern cooking Rooster’s is a must. The fried chicken was very very good. The fried catfish was excellent with large pieces. The serving proportions were plenty. We were here visiting for 4 days and ate here twice. The service and personnel were friendly and helpful. Peach cobbler was yummy as well as the pound cake.
