I went back because it has been a little over a year since I last visited. They have done a lot of updates and it looks good. It's brighter and has a more soothing feel. The food was good and service was evenly paced. Nice place to sit and catch-up.Previous Review: This is the best fresh kitchen I have come across. Everything that I have tired has been really good. Today's suprise chili was the best chili I have ever had.
The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious, BUT the portions do t mrch the price they charge. Tou can go to Liz's, Andersons and other places and get WAY MORE FOR YOUR MONEY. Yes, food is exensive but if we are paying more money there shouldnt be child sized sides for ADULTS. Got to give to get. We give but not getting
This was our first visit to GG's and we were excited to give this southern cooking restaurant a try. They are close to where we live and we enjoy finding good local restaurants.We both had the Sunday Soul Food selection of Roasted Chicken and Dressing with 2 sides.
