I’ve been coming here for years. I remember always coming here as a kid and I loved it. Went here last week and although the food was delicious, the selections haven’t changed in well over 10 years, the staff isn’t friendly and let’s be honest, the restaurant is filthy all the way around. Sure it’s a hole in the wall but let’s clean it up some and get some food options on the buffet.

I would definitely not return to this place, unlike other places we visited there was fresher food and variety. The lady at the sushi bar looks badly at the client and speaks in her language knowing God. An unpleasant experience except for the waitress who attended us and the gentleman of the iron who was very attentive.

This place is so underrated! I love it! They have such a great variety of actual Japanese food and it's always fresh. I think I've come across one thing I don't like on all the buffet bars they have, and I feel like I'm a picky person. Everything was seasoned great, the staff was extremely nice, the place was very clean, and the bathroom smelled wonderful every time I walked in. My husband and I ate all we wanted for 37$.

Just found this place and the value for a Asian Food lovers is top notch! I visited during the week for their lunch buffet which was $11.49 for me I went as a single diner everything was delicious I took a star off because after I had 2 plates and was sitting trying to enter my food into my calorie tracker to see if I plan what else I could have to eat and to unlock my card to prepare to pay however the server came up to me asking if I was done and ready to leave I told her not yet but she still brought me my check and tried to give me a to go drink I told her no thanks and she just stood there as if I wasn't allowed to grab a 3rd plate of food or be on my phone I felt pressured to get out so I left. If you want a good value for your money and plan to eat a small amount of food really fast go here if not stay away

My family & I dined here couple of days ago. It was later 7pm (couple of hours before closing). Probably missing a few items. Nevertheless, the food was great. But I must give our attendent/waitress a shout out, she was awesome. She had a beautiful smile and not only made us feel very welcome but I notice she never lost that very positive and attending attitude with all she interacted with, her name is Trinity. I must also add her work ethic is exceptional. She was on the move, while cleaning tables after customers left she appear to keep that peppy attitude. Trinity, I hope you see this. I see you going places, keep up the great work.

I recently checked out Hibachi Buffet Grill and Sushi, and it turned out to be a solid pick when I couldn’t decide what I was craving. Walking in, the vibe was relaxed yet lively — a buffet-style setup mixed with a little bit of everything: sushi, grilled dishes, fried items, and more. Right away I liked that you get choices — you could go for a few sushi rolls, then swing by a grill station, or load up on fried seafood and sides depending on what mood you’re in.
For my meal I mixed a bit of everything: some sushi rolls, a hibachi-grilled chicken and veggies, and a side of fried shrimp. The sushi was decent — fresh enough for a buffet style, the hibachi grill gave me exactly that nice “hot off the grill” taste, and the fried shrimp had that crispy crunch I was looking for. Portion sizes were generous and because of the buffet format, I could go for seconds without hesitation.
What stood out most was the variety. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, grilled fare, fried comfort food, or a combination — the place gives you that freedom. It’s casual, no-fuss, and flexible enough for groups where everyone has different tastes. Service felt functional and friendly enough. Plates came out at decent pace (especially for the grill-to-order items), and drinks stayed topped up.
If you’re hungry, indecisive about what you want, or just want a big spread where everyone gets something they like — Hibachi Buffet Grill and Sushi hits that sweet spot. It’s not fancy dining, but for value, variety, and a laid-back buffet-meets-grill vibe, I’d go back.
