The portion sizes are very small and you have to pay extra for plantain. The food is tasty but I added photos to show what they game me and I paid $40+. I would not go here because they do not give you what you pay for. Go to the other Jamaican restaurant in centerville !! Save your time and money !!

We were driving through Warner Robbin’s and stopped here for lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious.
I had the Jerk chicken about a month ago and can not stop thinking about it! By far the best Jamaican place in the area perfectly seasoned and grilled tender juicy chicken and amazing rice. And the best part the fried plantains all at a reasonable price!

Visited the Potwah Kitchen yesterday for the first time. We will definitely be back! Ordered the oxtails with rice and peas and Mac n cheese as the sides. Delicious! Also ordered the jerk chicken rasta pasta. Was not disappointed. The smoky, jerk seasoned pasta and chicken was excellent. The flavors were amazing. The balance of the jerk and smoke from the chicken along with the peppers and onion made the dish one where you want to stop eating, but it is just that good. Also tried the roti. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The atmosphere takes you back to the island. We played pool, could have played dominoes, but it food was ready. The service was friendly and helpful. We had a great experience all around. If you have not tried Potwah Kitchen, check it out.

Iam from out of town so I decided to try this restaurant. The good parts are the chef and front of restaurant person are very very great with service. Food comes out quickly and I feel the amount of food was good overall for me. Now the negative points: I order the oxtails with double rice and peas. Now, I cook this food personally myself and I just feel the cook added too much sweetener in the sauce. The oxtails is overly sweet and not enough of authentic Jamaican taste is implemented correctly. I also keep biting down on herds like ginger pieces which kill your taste bulbs. The rice was good quality and the beans but salt missing in the entire dish. Perhaps he don’t add salt due to many people have issues with sodium but the only way to bring out the total taste of your food and spices is to add adequate salt. I think he deserves the opportunityfor me to revisit and review again. Food isn’t terrible but very much American totally dumb down from pure Jamaican food. But I only had that one dish. Perhaps other dishes are different

My experience is always ? great love the food
The owner was friendly and made good recommendations. The food was delicious and flavorful! If I could have gotten maybe half of the rice and peas and had a plantain as a third option might have been my only change I would make. Food to price ratio was on point though.
