I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The customer service was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, a pleasant experience. I highly recommend. I got the curry goat with one of their veggie patties and it was so good, I will definitely be back!
Potwah Kitchen is a taste of nostalgia… it has a Jamaican vibe, the employees are professional and attentive, and the food is made to order and flavorful. If you want authentic cuisine, this place is it. Thank you, ladies! The shrimp jerk was amazing! 😉

I had one of my personal favorites, the Curry Goat with a side of Mac & Cheese and Plantains. Rice and Peas was complimentary staple. The Goat was succulent and well seasoned. The Mac & Cheese was baked to perfection. It surprised me because it was more of the southern style of Mac & Cheese that I’m accustomed to eating. Not runny but cooked like a thick and rich slice of cake. Great Mac& Cheese 👍🏾. Plantains were moist, cooked all the way through, and had balanced sweetness. There was nothing left on my plate to take home. Also the price was the cheapest around for a plate of that portion. Also my Mom had the Ox Tail plate. I didn’t get to sample hers but there were no complaints from her and nothing left on her plate. So if you are in the mood for Caribbean Cuisine, I highly recommend visiting this location. Richie did an excellent job.

When I first moved here in 2024 this was the first place I tried when I was lookingfor a Jamaican spot and from that day I began to occasionally order from here. Mind you this was while they had a restaurant on Watson but since they relocated to the mall its like the quality of this place has gone down. I have ordered twice since they relocated and the large is not a large plate anymore, you only get a few oxtails and they are flavorless, barely any sauce or the rice has completely soaked it up; I'm very disappointed. This used to be my favorite spot but not anymore I was under the impression that maybe they had a bad day the first time but today's order solidified that this place has changed. A waste of my $46.21

I was disappointed when I went to get JUST some rasta pasta and was charged $16 for some noodles with sauce!!! ...and barely cooked peppers.... My usual spot was closed, so I tried this place. I was courteous and thanked them for their kind service, but I know I will never spend my money there again.
Amazing food ordered three plates. One oxtail with jerk chicken and with rice & peas. Two orders of the çhicken stew with oxtail & rice and peas. Also the gentleman was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be coming back. I would have had pics to show but the food didn't last long on the car ride home lol.
