Just drove to GA from tn for a wedding. I have never seen such an incompetent caterer. Showed up Friday late, with food not prepared fully, dropped the food and left, he didn't stay to serve It. Saturday burnt the wedding cake, showed up 2 hours late after brides mother send people for food and a cake for their guest and wanted her to take the food and pay him. Omg they finally gave her down payment back for Saturday. They should have completely reimbursed her for all of it plus paid For the replacement food and cake her family had to scramble to get from restaurants close by. If I could give a zero I would What a disaster for this whole family. He needs to be reported to bbb Never in my 65 yrs have I ever heard of a caterer doing this to a family. Pitiful I have had my 2 kids get married and have attended and helped with tons of weddings never in my life would I believe a business could be that irresponsible.

This place is terrible. Ruined my Nieces wedding by NOT EVEN SHOWING UP WITH THE FOOD AND WEDDING CAKE!!! What a horrible person to do this to a couples WEDDING!!!!! I the owner gets help for his drinking issues because he showed up to rehearsal drunk as a skunk and then was seemingly drunk on the phone on wedding day when he told us he wouldn’t make it at the exact time of service. We called and texted all morning of wedding and he wouldn’t answer or respond till time of service! So unprofessional! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

I ordered the Filipino bowl and the breakfast burrito. Both had pork belly in them. Both were DELICIOUS. Warning to anyone who has spice sensitivity: the sauce on the Filipino Bowl is definitely spicy. I would ask for it on the side if you have a low tolerance for spice. Will be back in the future!!

Wowzah!! Everything I've tried so far has been delectable, and the warm, professional service is always top notch, too. Most recent (and personal FAV!): beef tips and rice! This dish has all the goodness and comfort of "regular" beef tips and rice, but the rich brown gravy, the perfect rice, and the scrumptiously-marinated (Seriously, what is in that marinade, unicorn tears?), tender, grilled tips may just worry you that you'll never again be fully satisfied by "regular" beef tips and rice again. So. VERY. Good.

I recommend getting the pork belly anytime it is on the menu. I've had the pork belly bao and the grilled pork belly with lima beans and rice. I've never placed a bad bite of food in my mouth from Root 76. Never. Do not pass up the opportunity to visit their truck, either on Watson or at an event.

When my wife and I got married last October, we entrusted Root 76 Cuisine to handle the catering. Initially, everything seemed to be going smoothly. They were responsive, accommodating, and we were pleased with the menu options. However, everything just went downhill from there.A week before the wedding, we were blindsided with the news that the owners had split, and neither of the individuals we had been working with would be present to oversee the buffet line as planned. We were told by the owner who split from the company, and it was not until we got to reception that we found out the other owner was not even going to be in attendance. Despite this setback, the owner who had left the company still made an effort to attend, delivering the cake he had made and I'm honestly still really happy with him.Unfortunately, the problems escalated during the reception. After guests had served themselves their first plates of food, the buffet line was abruptly closed and all remaining food was discarded. It was shocking to us that a buffet would be shut down after only an hour, especially without any prior notice. I mean by the time my now wife and I, had a moment to return to the buffet, everything had been disposed of.Adding insult to injury, we had already settled the bill and generously tipped the staff before discovering the extent of the issue. We were deeply disappointed and frustrated, turning what was meant to be the happiest day of our lives into a stressful ordeal. Honestly it almost ruined the wedding for us.While I appreciate the efforts of the owner who attended and the initial positive interactions we had with Root 76, the mishandling of the buffet and lack of communication regarding the situation were unjustifiable. It's regrettable that such a crucial aspect of our wedding celebration was destroyed by this experience. When it was all said and done, we were only refunded the tip, even though all the food we had paid for was thrown away and wasted. We even had a plan to hold a small celebration with immediate family using the leftovers, but obviously that did not happen.The food was good, but not good enough to get this bad taste out of my mouth. I tried holding back from writing this review but it's still a stain on our minds and hopefully by writing this review we can lay it to rest.

Root 76 Cuisine is the place to go if you're passing through, it is a local gem. We drove all the way from Florida to get a taste of delicious buffalo chicken egg rolls and scrumptious fresh made pork chops with all the fixings! This is a family owned business with amazing portion size and prices, serving breakfast early and lunch starting at 11am. A MUST HAVE!!
