A to go order was placed at this location. The order asked for cheese in the grits. NO CHEESE IN THE GRITS, and to add insult to injury there was no syrup in my bag for the waffle. I tried to call to speak with the manager...EVERYTHING is done online now. WOW!!! What a horrible experience.

So.....I rated this particular location 3 stars not because of the server as she was the only one and she did an excellent job. The restaurant was very clean. That being said, I knew that they were short-staffed so I was willing to wait without problem or issue and so I did. I placed my order as I waited for a dine in order to be completed. I watched the cook prepare two cheese steak sandwiches. He quartered off pieces of the steak on the grill that should have gone on the sandwiches and put them to the side and closed both sandwiches and served them to the customers. I saw what he had done and I knew what he was going to do next. In my mind and said to myself, maybe he's not going to do it but within a matter of seconds he turned his back 2 the customers who the food should have gone to and use his gloved hand and what I thought he would do was at least walk off to the side or something and put it in his mouth but he didn't. He put it in his mouth with his gloves touching his mouth and ate it. I immediately said I know that I didn't see what I just thought you did. He said to me that he hadn't eaten all day because of the shortage and that he had been there from 7 that morning and at this point it was 8 p.m. I said I'm sure that at some point you could have taken a break or even a second to eat something to fill your stomach but you don't just eat firstly what someone else paid for but to put it in your mouth with this epidemic going on and you touched your lips and was about to use those same gloves without washing your hands to make nonetheless my food but others food as well. So I asked him to please take off those gloves and wash his hands and put on fresh gloves which he did. I could only assume that this was something that he has done before but this could have potentially made everyone sick not not to speak of he also had a toothpick in his mouth the entire time and that was bad enough. Anyone that knows me personally knows that I love Waffle House and I frequent one at least three times a week. But this one just turned my stomach and this guy really needs to be reassured of the rules. Don't get me wrong he was very neat and he cooked well. Everything was nice and clean around him and he made neet plates and sandwiches, he just needs some disciplinary action as far as ServSafe is concerned.

This is the cleanest, quick service and great food from any Waffle House I have been to. Jainay was our server and was so sweet and friendly! The food was hot and delicious. Place was packed too, staff handled all well. We now call this the Waffle House we frequent.

Today my son and I visited this location for the first time. The ambiance was Awesome. Janelle our waitress provided great customer experiences. The food was spot on. The wait time was acceptable. We will be returning back again. Thanks for making us feel like apart of your business instead of a visitor on the premises.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Waffle House Store #2357 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the poor customer service I experienced at Waffle House Store #2357 on January 18, 2024, at approximately 9:50 AM. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was busy, but I located a chair near the glass and motioned to an employee, Tanesha Brooks, to indicate that I would like to sit at the counter once it was cleaned. She acknowledged me with eye contact. However, after 15 minutes, despite multiple interactions of eye contact, the counter remained dirty while Ms. Brooks appeared preoccupied with her phone, seemed to be texting on her cellphone but was unsure, and attended to other customers who arrived after me. After 30 minutes of waiting, the woman and her young son seated next to the chair I would be sitting in got up and left, and Ms. Brooks promptly cleaned their spot. She then asked if I would like to sit at the counter. I expressed frustration, explaining that I had been waiting for the counter to be cleaned since my arrival 30 minutes ago. Ms. Brooks dismissed my concerns, stating, "Why didn’t you ask me to clean the counter?" I said, What? I got to tell you how to do your job. Are you serious? Her tone and approach during this exchange were unprofessional and dismissive. When I asked for her name and the store number, she provided them but added sarcastic remarks, such as pointing out that the store number was on the door. Note: please watch the store video footage from the camera near the front entrance to validate my complaint. I have been a loyal customer of this Waffle House location for years and typically visit with my wife on weekends. Until this encounter, I had consistently received excellent service from your staff. Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting negative impression. I am requesting a formal review of this incident, along with confirmation that steps will be taken to address Ms. Brooks’ conduct and ensure the standards of service Waffle House is known for. Unless I receive assurances that this issue has been resolved and steps are in place to prevent such behavior in the future, I will no longer dine at Waffle House and will take my business to Huddle House instead. As a retired military veteran, I hold customer service and accountability in high regard. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally before similar incidents affect other loyal customers. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Craig Whitehead

Food could have been better.

Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese bread, hashbrowns, and waffles.

Parking: There is plenty of parking, which is great. The only downside is that it can be a nightmare during peak hours. Getting in and out feels like navigating an obstacle course. If you're in a hurry, it's best to avoid those times. Just a heads-up!

Kid-friendliness: Easy kids menu and comfortable seating
