“Oh dang! We had to drive a few miles off of I-20 to get here, but it was worth it. The wings are fried naked and they offer several sauce choices. Two of us had mild Buffalo and two had sweet and sour. The combos come with fries and a drink. $8.99 for a 6 PC combo and $10.99 for a 10 PC combo. Delicious and the locals clearly love it. We sat outside at the picnic tables to eat and a steady stream of people came to pick up orders. I love a place where the customers know one another. Small town love! By the way, they say they close at 8:00, but we just left at 8:20pm and they were still going!”

“I went in with high expectations given the ratings but this place still managed to meet them. The people are friendly, the seating and atmosphere are cosy, and the coffee is *delicious.*. They use a great brew from Counter Culture and they clearly prepare it with a lot of care and love -- I still remember the subtle details of what I ordered here almost three weeks later. Highly, highly recommended!”

“We visited on a Sunday for lunch b/c of the reviews here and we were traveling through the area. We had the fried chicken and some sides. Overall, it was very good home-cooking style food. Cafeteria restaurant-- you get a platter n silverware and go through the line. Friendly folks!”

“I ordered from Makay Catering for my daughter's birthday and I was not disappointed. They have a menu that is full of variety. I ordered the vegetable fried rice, plantains, eggrolls, and some puff puff and had them delivered. Everything was delicious and fresh. But the Fried Rice was the STAR of the day, everyone was asking about it, and wanted more, and the shito, hmm just wonderful if you love pepper.The communication was fine. I'll definitely order from them in the future.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful! We had catfish (good), coleslaw (yum!), grits (yum!), chopped pork bque (good), Brunswick stew (yum), French fries, apple fried pie (yum) sweet tea and Sprite. Enjoyed talking to the staff, down home older “hole in the wall” feel which we love! Total of 2 dinners was $35 Would eat here again if we were ever in the area! Camping nearby at Hamburg State Park!”
