G Brand BBQ - Watkinsville

I went through the drive thru so I can’t speak to atmosphere. The staff were very nice. However, the chicken is not edible. I did call and let them know and they offered no refunds or anything for a next visit. I guess if I wanted pork it may have been better? I would have been embarrassed to serve this food. I tried a couple of bites but can’t do it. So dry and hard. Sides are ok. I feel like I could have gone to the Publix deli and honestly want my money back.

We have been to G Brand BBQ several times. Each time has been a sure joy. The food has always been excellent and the staff super friendly! We have tried many BBQ places in the area, and G Brand BBQ has become our go-to-place without question. We thought the prices were reasonable and not at all out of line. This is especially true considering how generous the servings sizes are. I give it 5 stars plus and two thumbs up! Try it! You will be glad you did!!

Really disappointed. My wife and I have been there 3 times, and two of our visits they were out of the ribs and Brunswick stew. We ended up getting a sandwich and baked chicken, both of which were just OK.
Most of the side dishes seem to be right out of a can and the chicken is no better than Public's rotary, but 3 times the price.
The prices are very high compared to other BBQ places.
On the bright side the ribs are very good (when they ever have any) and the staff is friendly.

Some of the best food I ever had

So happy this place is now in Watkinsville! Such a great value for so much food. Who can actually get a dinner for 2 for under $30?! This place you can and with leftovers for the next day. Order comes out quick and the staff is friendly.

I went there because a friend recommended it. This place is amazing! Every dish is delicious, but I especially enjoyed the ribs. They're so tender and flavorful, probably the best BBQ I've ever had. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back!

Brisket is on point! Friendly and FAST service. For me, BBQ is all about the sauce and this group has some really good ones. My favorites are the mustard based sauce and if you like a little spice, you’ll love their sweet hot sauce. Glad to finally have a really good BBQ option in Oconee!
