Really sweet staff and Southern Sunday Lunch (from out of town and have only had Sunday lunch but breakfast menu looked lovely). If you are looking for a pretentious brunch spot, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a delicious, casual, affordable, southern cafe that cares about the community - this seems to definitely be the place.

The food is a solid, good country breakfast. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good cooking and large portions. For pretty darned cheap. The staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful people I've ever met, and the service is quick. Cathead biscuits. Creamy grits. Buttery pancakes like you would make in your own skillet. The atmosphere is family friendly, to be sure, and a Wall of Thanks and respect for all of our Armed Forces.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level with the street, no lip on the side walk, very wheel chair friendly and easy for people with mobility challenges to maneuver.

Authentic food. It is all good. The service is very good and friendly. Come hungry. The portions are great. The coffee is strong and hot.

Stopped in for breakfast and had to wait a while to get my order taken but the lady at the front was very friendly. The food was ok, not to much to brag about. I was hoping for something different but it's very similar to Strickland's if your from the area. Mom and pop breakfast spot.

Cheap and fast, but things all seamed to be reheated frozen items. Not really “brunch”.

Great Southern Cafe with a friendly atmosphere. The food is well prepared and the portion sizes are good too. :)

Went for breakfast. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and a biscuit which were fine. I ordered an omelette with ham and mushrooms. It tasted awful. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. The biscuit also left a lot to desire as did the coffee. The staff noticed that I wasn’t eating and they offered to bring me another meal but I had lost my appetite. They were kind enough to give a full refund. If you want a great breakfast go to Mama Boys.
