The food is a solid, good country breakfast. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good cooking and large portions. For pretty darned cheap. The staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful people I've ever met, and the service is quick. Cathead biscuits. Creamy grits. Buttery pancakes like you would make in your own skillet. Really sweet staff and Southern Sunday Lunch (from out of town and have only had Sunday lunch but breakfast menu looked lovely). If you are looking for a pretentious brunch spot, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a delicious, casual, affordable, southern cafe that cares about the community - this seems to definitely be the place.
