Im just making this to save the few people who come through Waycross time, money, and heartache. If what you're after is a quick bite, go somewhere else. The service here is always rotten, the food is often bad or worse, and the place is dead like 24/7. I dunno if they sling drugs out the back or what because in the last few years I have no idea how this Sonics location is keeping the lights on.

Couldn't hear me on pull up and park speakers so had to back out and go through drive thru. Then lady taking order was very confused on some of the things on menu. Then spent alonggggg time sitting at window. Cars behind me even got tired of waiting and pulled off. Finally got to pay for my orders and then the wrong change was given to me and I was shorted money. After that was corrected I finally got my order which was missing items. Workers are rude and just argued and blamed each other for all the mistakes.

If I could put this as no stars I would. Came Thanksgiving night, very sure it wasn’t open but the music was on and all the lights were on. So we tried to see if they happened to be open. We drove around to the speaker and waited and realized they might not be open but the manager did say on the speaker not very nicely that they weren’t open. We said “oh thanks we just were seeing.” As we were driving away I think he might’ve forgotten to mute his microphone because he said “I don’t know why they were thinking we were open the lights aren’t even on.” They were on, all of them. Very disrespectful. Will not be back ever.

Waited 15 minutes to get one drink. That includes ordering, waiting for the person to actually take the order, and going up and knocking on the door. The same cars were still waiting in the drive thru when we left.
The service was prompt and employees were friendly. However, the cheeseburgers were very dry, maybe in the holding area too long. The edges were actually crispy and all dried out. The fries were cold. What a shame. Another restaurant to cross off the list.

I just do not understand how restaurants continue to decline. I have to repeat my order three times in the drive thru and I can barely hear the lady respond to me. Then I get to the drive thru window. My ticket is correct and I still don’t get what I want. They have to refund the first ticket because I was charged incorrectly and I still don’t get what I asked for!
Hard help is difficulty to find!

Sonic as a whole seems to be declining, but the food is still pretty good at this location. The staff are always friendly and the food is generally pretty quick.
