Man we loved small town setting in which Lou is settled in. We walked in the door and greeted kindly, waived on in by Rob the chef. He was excited about offering us the home cooked meal already prepared. It was plentiful, very tasty and we wanted seconds except I would've needed help getting back into the truck. Rob was personable the waitress was very nice had a great smile and payed good attention to us. Oh yep and the tea was some of the best I'd ever drank. That's saying a lot from a 58 year old SC resident. We will be back ?

Food was the best and was as good as home cooked. Turkey dressing, collard greens, lima beans, cabbage and green beans. It was ALL good. Come get ya some! Lots of friendly folks and everyone was kind.

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. It was a laid back atmosphere and we were warmly greeted by a kind woman who explained everything to us before we had a seat. The staff were so welcoming and the food was great. I will be going again.

Would rate -1 if possible. Was told almost everything on the menu they didn't have after getting our Swiss Mushroom burger without Swiss or mushrooms. All American burger had no lettuce, pickle or onion. Do not recommend.

Went on a Friday they close at 9 we arrived at 8 I had been dying to try because I thought it was HOME COOKING ? I was so disappointed to know it wasn't are wasn't at dinner time the choices were very very small like hamburger or sandwich that's it !? I had baby's with me that couldn't eat either yet so that sucked . Food wasn't bad but wasn't special either Again so disappointed no home cooking
