“Had lunch here today. Line was around and into the dining room at 1:00. Great meal and service. All staff was very friendly with smiles on the faces. Very healthy portions. Creamed corn was excellent and the cup of banana pudding I had was off the chain! Also picked up a bag of pork skins and they didn’t disappoint either.”

“I'm a little mad at myself for driving through Waynesboro so many times without stopping here. My meal was delicious, and there was plenty of it. I could barely finish half of my combo plate, which had two perfectly cooked pieces of flounder, ten lightly battered shrimp, hush puppies, and my choice of two sides (I had crunchy mayo-based cole slaw and some of the best fried okra I've ever eaten - second only to my grandmother's). My sister had the shrimp po'boy and thoroughly enjoyed it. She especially appreciated that they used "the right bread" - cottony soft on the inside and crispy (not hard and crunchy) on the outside.We live nearly two hours from Waynesboro and usually pass through as we're heading south to visit family. We've already decided we will make a trip just to dine here again. It's that good.”

“Food was the best and was as good as home cooked. Turkey dressing, collard greens, lima beans, cabbage and green beans. It was ALL good. Come get ya some! Lots of friendly folks and everyone was kind.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Lakeview Restaurant. I had a seafood platter with grilled Mahi Mahi and Fried Catfish. The Mahi Mahi was flavorful, and cooked just right. The catfish was excellent when paired with the house tartar sauce. My fries were cooked just right as well, and the portions were sizeable without being too oversized. The cole slaw was good as well and I am picky about my cole slaw. The location right on a small lake right outside of Waynesboro is nice. The service was pretty good as well. We were waited on as soon as we came in the door and sat down, and then our food came out pretty quickly for all 5 of us. The waitress made sure we had everything we needed but did not hover over us, or visit us excessively. I had visitors in from out of town and they enjoyed their food as well. Overall, I was very pleased with our experience at the Lakeview and would recommend it as a nice place to go for a casual dinner in Waynesboro, GA.”

“My husband and I met with our friend there and had dinner and it was truly delicious! Between the three of us we ordered the Sashimi appetizer, the Volcano roll, the Waynesboro roll, the American Dream roll, the Yum-Yum roll and the seaweed salad and every dish was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!”

“Beautiful building and interior , nice addition to Waynesboro. Our waiter was amazing , even packed our to go boxes for us, which was nice as when I lived in Atlanta. Fresh ingredients, and very flavorful , the food is somewhat different from regular Mexican restaurants with some different seasonings like a lot of traditional Mexican restaurants, which was a nice change up. Excited to eat here again , several things on the menu I wanted to try , and want to dine at lunch with their specials as well”

“Omg this place is Awesome!! The food was beyond great!! My husband said the crawfish dip was the Best thing he ever ate hands down!! The Ribeye and filet were seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly as we ordered M and Md rare they were Devine! The potatoes and asparagus were also Amazing!! The Mixed drinks were awesome as well!! Great Bartender!! Waitress was awesome as well and everyone was Very friendly!! Place is cute and cozy with brick walls and wood floors just cute as can be our kinda atmosphere!! And no need to be all dressed up you can of course but it was not an uppitty place real Southern Comfort!! It was our first time (came Highly Recommend by many) and it will be our Date night place from here on out!! Thank yall don’t change a thing it’s On Point !!????❤️ ”

“We play there, (Briggs Alley), once a month, and they are the most accommodating owners, and staff that you’ll find. The food is a hidden gem, in an out of the way location. Check this place out if you get a chance, and if possible, come check Briggs Alley out when there are there!!”

“We are from out of town and saw this place close to our campground. What a find! We got the ribs, mac n cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the people are friendly. We enjoyed it all and will definitely be back.”

“In a historic bldg or at least it looked that way. ? Loved the landscaped courtyard back entry. The food was very tasty. The restaurant was easy to locate after leaving the bypass on our travels. Would definitely stop by again.”

“Called in order, around 5:30 and told them l would pick it up between 7:00 and 7:15 as l had some errands to run in town..was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there at 7:15, stood in line only to learn order was not ready, but would be in 15 minutes. During this time, more and more people were showing up, so l figured the food must be good as it seemed to be a popular place. My order was ready in 15 minutes, now 7:30, which wasn't bad considering it was New Years Eve. My order was large and nothing was left out. The food is fresh and delicious and the portions are huge!! Staff may be a little disorganized, but it was truly worth the wait. Will definitely be going there again.”

“I only have one issue, please listen at what your customers are ordering through the drive thru and check behind those who are putting the stuff inside the bags to make sure they have everything.”
