Big Oak BBQ offers a delicious BBQ experience with a variety of choices. The ribs, mac n cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad are all highly recommended. The food is flavorful with no need for extra seasoning, and the sauce perfectly complements the meat. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Whether visitors are locals or just passing through, Big Oak BBQ is definitely worth a visit for some amazing barbecue sandwiches, Mac and cheese, and stew that are sure to impress. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating under a huge oak tree, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Recently, guests praised the friendly staff who were very patient, especially with children, and shared samples of brisket and pulled pork, highlighting the quality of the food. Many found the ribs and mac and cheese to be some of the best they have ever tasted. The prices are very affordable, making it a great spot for a hearty meal. The owner, who took over from her parents, is kind and helpful, often sharing samples and making guests feel welcome. The dining area shows some age and wear, but it remains clean and comfortable. For those who prefer, takeout is also an option. Overall, Big Oak BBQ is a hidden gem that offers genuine Southern flavors and a warm, friendly environment.
