Golden China Restaurant is a popular spot for fresh and delicious food, with large portions to satisfy customers. Many people prefer to order takeout, especially during busy times like Saturday afternoons. The restaurant is located in a somewhat back alley and does not have indoor seating, so customers usually need to pick up their orders outside, regardless of the weather. The staff is friendly, and the lady at the front is often praised for her kindness. The food is made to order and worth the wait, with some standout dishes like beef and broccoli, which customers say is possibly the best they've ever had. The beef gravy is not thick or overly salty, and the dish includes cabbage and carrots, adding a nice touch. The crab rangoon features sweet cream filling instead of salty cream cheese, making it especially popular. Customers have also appreciated when the staff go out of their way to make special dishes not on the menu. Despite some disorganization in staff and service, many feel like they are treated like family. The restaurant has limited service options and no online ordering capabilities, so customers should be prepared for outdoor pickup. Overall, it is a place with friendly people, tasty food, and large portions, making it a favorite for many seeking good Chinese food.
