I aways stop at Pineland Bakery when visiting family in Waynesboro. They have soft, moist and mouthwatering home baked pasteries. The various donuts, fritters, cakes, muffins and cupcakes are out of this world delicious. And they serve biscuits and croissants with meats and cheese and canned jellies, jams, pickles and so many other pickled vegetables. They make an amazing chow chow relish too aside from the absolute best Key Lime cake and Red Velvet cake I've ever eaten....
This is a charming, quaint bakery shop with many sweet options to choose from. I've been visiting this place for over 30 years and decided to stop in after a 20-year gap. It’s still the same, and the treats are as delicious as ever. My husband said it was the best cheese Danish he has ever had.
