Today, while making deliveries, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something new, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised.
It was almost like revisiting the past. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with the smell of great food. The place was spotless, with old pictures on the wall and a display of old antique license plates.
But what really got it for me was the vintage Dr. Pepper sign, if you know, you know.
Now that was only the beginning....
Country's BBQ in Columbus is awesome and always has been for the nearly 40 years I've been going there! All the staff were very kind and attentive and the environment is always nostalgic and clean. If your ever in the Columbus GA area stop by country's and have some bbq!
We drove over a hour to try this family buisness. The redneck egg rolls were awesome . Had bbq plate . Tried all there sauces. I liked the sweet and hot .no fat on the pork .had onion rings . Cole slaw .soo good . The lady who runs it gave us a sample of her homemade banana pudding with carmel drizzled on top. Needless to say I ate it all so good . Give them a try if your out this way .
