My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience tonight! The food and drinks were both exquisite but the ultimate highlight was our wonderful server Sarah! Her recommendations were wonderful, she was super attentive and personable, and she helped make the night perfect for us. Thank you so much Sarah! 💜

Riley was our server, and he delivered absolutely outstanding service. In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered a server as exceptionally attentive and intuitive. He anticipated every need with remarkable precision and ensured our experience was flawless from start to finish. Riley’s professionalism and dedication truly set him apart.
Riley you are FABULOUS!!!

Can’t say enough about the delicious meal we shared. The pork belly BLT and chicken pot pie were absolutely delicious. Even the side of fries and side salad were devoured. The oysters were so fresh and we tried both the raw and cooked style. Cocktails were amazing, we had 5 so it added to the bill. We even managed to taste the Carmel Apple cheesecake. The bartender (we sat at the bar) was so friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint we had was not having comfy clothes on. The jeans were at maximum capacity 😅

Eduardo the best ,The food has real flavor and you can tell they care about what they’re doing. Every dish came out fresh, seasoned right, and the portions were perfect. The place has a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out.

The service was warm and friendly without trying too hard. You can feel good energy in the place. If you love food that’s made with some heart behind it, this spot is worth the stop. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Great ambience for a date night. Feels very fancy and cozy. Delicious crab cake appetizer and amazing sangria. Very attentive wait staff. I felt like the entrees fell a little short, but then the dessert was divine (caramel apple cheesecake?! Omg). 10/10 will return to Bistro > Cotton Calf.

We really enjoyed our dinner. We started with raw oysters from the NE perfect start. Then we had salad, crab cakes and cacio e pepe.

I have been coming here for years and almost every date night with my wife. They recently lost their manager and it definitely shows. We were basically ignored most of the time and had to flag someone down to get service. Very unacceptable at this price point. We will return when they get a manager in there to make sure things are flowing correctly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Top 10 Meal of Our Lives! We just had dinner at The Bistro on Broad in Winder, and it absolutely blew us away. We’re no strangers to good food—we’re certified foodies—and this meal easily cracked the top 10 meals of our lives. We started with the pimento cheese and gnocchi to share, and both were downright insane in the best way. Creamy, rich, balanced—like Southern comfort and fine dining had a baby. For entrées, we ordered the shrimp & grits and the Campanella with beef ragout… and then proceeded to eat off each other’s plates all night because we genuinely couldn’t decide which one we liked better. The shrimp & grits were smoky, buttery perfection, and the ragout was slow-cooked, soul-warming magic. Dessert? Blueberry cobbler and chocolate bread pudding. We were already full, but we pushed through like champions. Both were ridiculously good—the kind of good that makes you consider licking the plate. And major shoutout to Bree, our server—she was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and spot-on with every recommendation. She made the experience even better. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was top notch. Winder is lucky to have this gem. If you haven’t been yet—go. And bring stretchy pants!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The oysters were fresh and briny, the Caesar salad crisp and well-dressed, and the steak — absolute perfection. Great vibes, top service shoutout to Eduardo!, and food that hits every mark. A must-try in Winder!

The filet was cooked all wrong. There was a weird cut like the chef tried to see how done the steak was. The top half was cut like it was layered. Not sure why. The steaks were layed on the mashed potatoes and carrots. I would have preferred them to the side. My daughter said her ribeye was good. The music was cover bands of recent music.
