I don't know what is going on with this place, if they've changed owner recently or what but the food I just brought home to eat was absolutely disgusting! My soup had no flavor at all and was thick like jellied or something. I have ordered here in the past and it was fine but I won't be back! Too many other Chinese restaurants in winder to be slinging food like that!

I have been ordering china wok for years, and I have always said that they are the best on Winder. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are amazing. I have to write a review after all these years because on Christmas Day myself and 4 other families ordered in and unfortunately made a mistake and did not pack two of our fried rices. I called the restaurant and let them know and although it is the Busiest day of the year for them they still made it right and delivered the missing fried rice within 20 minutes. Everyone loved what they ordered and have become fans of china wok.

Shout out to local family businesses! Came to visit my mom, the day after new year. stopped in to check it out, pleasantly greeted right away. Extremely friendly staff, gave us a free lemonade. Idk why, Extremely greatful. You can taste the fresh vegetables in the crab rangoon, in the egg roll, the egg food young! It is the absolute best hole in the wall chinese type take out. We stayed and dined in, small but its also feels private. Like our own personal dinning room. I can't brag enough, we decided to come here every year after new years!

Me and my wife came here on new Year's when passing through town. Lady behind counter was super friendly and helpful. I ordered shrimp lo mein and wife ordered egg foo young and a side of crab Rangoon. The Rangoon was fresh and delicious. It wasn't just cream cheese in a fried shell, it was perfect. My lo mein was great and egg foo young was as well. I love supporting small family owned businesses and especially families that add culture to otherwise monotonous cuisine in small town. We will be back next time we pass through.

Fair warning. The woman who greets you and takes order is outwardly friendly and accommodating to customers, however, I was short changed on two separate occasions by the same lady. It was only for a dollar each time but after the first experience, I was uncertain if this was done purposely. It may have been nervousness or even math incompetence, but on the third time I witnessed it while waiting behind another customer. She paid with a single hundred bill for a family order. The woman proceeded to give her what I assumed was $10 or $20 less in change which the customer quickly realized and mentioned it. At which point the woman gave her the missing amount. Obviously if you pay in cash, be cognizant of your exact change when ordering from this place.

Just recently, Amy—who is full of energy and kindness—took over China Wok right next door. For our latest event, we ordered chicken wings and sweet & sour chicken for about 30 people, and the response was incredible! Everyone loved the food and kept asking, “Where did you get this from?” We proudly told them, “Our next-door neighbor, China Wok!”
Our team agreed it was the best they’ve tasted, and I have to say—the sweet & sour chicken was absolutely outstanding. Thanks to their delicious food, our event was a big success!!
