Love our little neighborhood gem!! Everything is fresh and delicious. Every item is authentic and prepared with love. The shrimp tacos are my favorite and my hubs devours the special burrito he always gets. Guacamole is the best I have ever had. The service is unsurpassed and everyone knows your name! ( Just like on the TV show Cheers) we eat here often with family and friends. Can’t say enough good things about this family owned restaurant .

If you live in the Athens area it is worth the drive to Winterville to eat here!! Salsa, guacamole, and my Birria tacos were better than any mexican food around.

I’ve been to Garfias a bunch of times and every time the food is excellent and the people who work there, including the owner, are so friendly. I love the vegetarian options that are offered. This is definitely one of my fave restaurants in the area.
