This place the best burger I've ever tried. The fries were hand cut and fresh, seasoned perfectly and also a great portion. The burger was the best I've ever had. The beef tastes fresh and well seasoned, the cheese was melted perfectly and the bacon was thick and crisp. The portions here are great and for the price, you can't get anything better.

I stepped into Little City Diner today not knowing what I might be able to enjoy due to allergies (no vegetable and seed oils, no gluten and no added sugar). It is difficult for me to find a safe meal anywhere, but when I approached the counter, the staff did everything they could to put my mind at ease, and I got a personal one on one consultation with Chef Marlena, where we reviewed the menu and she personally let me know my options and creatively made a meal safe for me to eat. It was incredibly good, and I was so fortunate that she was there that day. I appreciated the time and the care the entire staff took to make sure I had what I needed. I will be returning whenever I'm in the area. Thanks for your attentiveness, kindness and creativity - it sets you apart.

I was waiting in line for 15 minutes to place my order and the person behind the counter just walked away to serve tables their food. I decided to eat somewhere else. Maybe next time get more help.

First Impression: Oooh I can't wait to get back here! It's the kind of food where you eat slowly because you just want to take the time to feel how good it tastes. The food is SO pretty! You can tell they care. They bake their bread and pastries in-house!! Follow them on Facebook, those pics are really how good their food looks in person. Ordering on the phone and contactless pickup was seamless. The food was ready for us on a table in front of the building when we arrived. You can dine at their tables outside and they DO offer table service. Ask about their dessert case inside. Outdoor dining is handicapped and stroller accessible. Kids' menu available on request for 12 and under. Bathroom is open but mask required. Employees wear masks. We had the tomato soup, grilled cheese (with tomato), ham and cheese (with apple butter!), and these gorgeous hand-cut fries seasoned and with bits of bacon and chives. Is there a place better than Mama's Boy? Yes, it's Little City Diner! Always fresh food with good people. Folk art and herb fried potatoes. Come for the excellent coffee and stay for the chicken paintings ?

Had a wonderful breakfast omelette with potatoes and hot tea- this is an awesome diner with great service, cool vibe & nice folks- it’s in Winterville only 5 minutes from my work in Athens- it’s not far from where I live in Arnoldsville, so- it’s an awesome place to grab a bite to eat- they also are cool with dogs on their nice patio and have a Free Little Library out front- go check it out!

We had such a lovely breakfast at Little City Diner. The place has a charming old-fashioned vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. The food was delicious, with hearty portions and everything cooked just right. It's the perfect spot for a cozy, relaxed morning meal. Definitely recommend if you're in town and looking for a great breakfast spot.
